I agree that the media is making a big deal out of it and that his “friend” shouldn’t have taken photos and sold them to the press but you would think that given his upbringing, his position and his age that he would have a bit more sense and cop on not to be stripping off in a hotel room, protecting a naked girls modesty :-0

Okay, yes he is a royal, and should possibly act with a little more dignity, but it is being blown out of all proportion.

Besides, I’m sure the (unofficial) statement from Prince Phillip would have been along the lines of:

“The little bugger! Why didn’t I think of strip billiards? I could have shown everyone my cue”

Fairly sure that I remember reading somewhere that he paid for his trip to Las Vegas himself on his soldier salary, and gets no other income other than his inheritance, but then that makes him no different from any other rich kid.

Aside from that, to me he’s just another member of the Royal Family. He’s very unlikely to become our king unless something happens to Kate and Wills very soon or they had no children in the future. If he wants to have fun, let him, no one said that being Royal meant being a nun, look at loads of the previous Royals, mistresses galore for a start!

I thought this was bloody hilarious. I get that he’s a member of the Royal family but he’s still a young fella and should be allowed lead his life the way he wants to.
His whole life since before he was born has been under scrutiny so why not have a bit of craic. No-one hurt or nothing damaged and it also lightens the image of the blue blooded ones.

Love Harry – and realistically he has as much chance of ever being King of England as I do. He’s third in line for the throne and if Kate and her fella have a couple of sprogs that recedes even further.

He’s a young guy, his security was incredibly lax (can you imagine a Hollywood star allowing those photos to be leaked) – leave him alone.

Rosmaria, I’d agree to a certain extent. Well, in that I can see why British people would be embarrassed about this. This is their future King, a member of the Royal Family which rules Britain, something many Britons really care about. Cavorting naked in a Las Vegas hotel room, on a freebie, is a little tacky. And a little embarrassing. It doesn’t show the monarchy in a very good light and I can see why people would feel a little aggrieved about that.

He’s nothing to me, as an Irish person, so personally I couldn’t care less. But if say it was Michael D Higgins caught living it up, blowing off steam with a bevy of young women, even if his wife was present, I’d be pretty embarrassed about that. Or if it was Enda Kenny or an equivalent of a very high up Royal Family member, you know what I mean.

On the privacy thing however, I think it was bad form of whomever filmed him, probably a friend Harry thought he could trust. THat was bad form alright.

I’m afraid I take the old fogey line on this one.

Harry knows who he is!

He’s one of the wealthiest people in Britain, who unless he really is thick as a plank knows perfectly well that this stuff will not play well at home.

Blowing off steam, getting naked with women, grand, but seriously, he was on a freebie because of who he is, a modicum of decorum wouldn’t hurt.

And finally, if he stays at this kind of crack, he’s going to look a bit sad, he isn’t a teenager anymore.
