he girls have a good wkend myself. GWSE yer wan is def taking the piss maybe instead of a note walk the girl home and tell your wan your not an offie. Or give her a ring before the kid gets back to the house that child should of been in bed or at least at home not out that late. That’s late for me!

So went out on friday night dunno if anyone here read the blather on fri i was a little apprehensive about going out because my friend wanted to set me up with her friend. I was so conscience before i headed in but sure the minute I walked in the door everything was grand got on really well with everyone there, they were all super nice. It was just that initial moment before you walk into a bar on your own, That’ “is this a good idea’ thought a sort of sliding doors moment if you will. Anyway the italian was super nice we had a little kiss and got on really well but he didn’t ask for my number and because I’m a complete novice when it comes to dating etc I didn’t know what to do there?? Such a ham! I sent him a facebook request is that sad?

shellebelle – i am the same at the moment, its driving me mad, big spots everywhere, although i think its the aul hormones coz i’m getting a bit of backne, raging

Tis our wedding anniversary today, not doing anything, just chilling at home, even though the town is buzzing, coz of the Boxing, John Joe is from here so there was a huge crowd up town watching the match live, we just heard them letting fireworks off sounds deadly,

i have decided to treat myself to some goodies tomorrow, so will head to the Vintage fair in mullingar, i’m hoping to get some bargains, can’t wait,

Gossipgal: Yeah, she never had a car, and she doesn’t have a licence, aparro she only passed her theory test 3 weeks ago, but sure you never can tell.

Shellebelle: I am using La Roche Posay Effaklar K and I am loving it. I broke out badly too due to a product and this stuff is a fab saviour. Any of the Effaklar range is really good actually, Have used the Duo and the M and the AI (spot treatment). But I like the K one best.

I hope the kids are ok. I haven’t spoken to her, I would rather actually speak to her than send a note, but haven’t seen them yet today. I just feel shit for the kids. No kid needs that.

GWTSE – Time to put the foot down. If you tell her that you can’t go a few times she’ll probably get the message and stop asking. Poor kids, I hope they are getting fed if all mammy is getting from the shops is fags and beer.

Girls anyone got any recs for a very light moisturiser? Everything is breaking me out at the moment even active moist! Any recs would be mucho appreciated

Looking forward to the Olympics closing ceremony tomorrow night, didn’t get to see the opening ceremony so intrigued.

Thank girls. I needed to hear that I wasn’t being a selfish cow.
I don’t mind going for groceries, but I don’t have money/petrol to waste taking her uncle/boyfriend/shag to go and get feckin beer on a friday night.

Right. Onwards and upwards. Its Saturday, its a bit overcast, but its dry and the wind is blowing, so I am taking advantage of natures tumble drier.

I have no plans this weekend. Going to fold the washing and catch up on the ironing and maybe take the kids out for an ice-cream later.

GWTSE, I understand your position. I was in a similar position recently. Some people take advantage. That’s how they are. Have no qualms in stopping them taking advantage of you. You are completely right – it is not an emergency. But neither do you want to cause the little one grief. If I were you, I would wait until it happens again. If it does, send the little girl back with a handwritten note saying dear X, can’t go to the shop at the moment (no need to explain why) but if you are in an emergency to get food for the kids, let me know. And I’d be a devil and give her a pint of milk or a packet of nappies to drive home the point. No falling out but just letting her know you are not an off licence. Some people are so self centred and self absorbed and willing to take advantage of the kindness of others. It really hits a nerve with me. I am generous by nature but I become really resentful if someone takes advantage.
