I wonder if the Estee Lauder available to you are different than those available in the states. The Double Wear Light in shade 1 is too yellow and too dark for me. The real Double Wear ahs great pale shades, but I have dry skin and like a luminous finish, so I' m afraid the Double Wear will look to drying on me. MUF HD has a shade 115 that matched my skin perfectly, but also very dry finish. Georgio Armani Luminous Silk in 4.75 was pretty perfect when sampled at Sephora, but I'd like to try the 3.75 as well because I find everything gets darker during the day, Bobbi Brown Foundations are very prome to this. I have samples of Lancome in Teinte Miracle in Buff (4C), too dark, I told the SA it would be! The lighter color, Porcelain (4N), is too yellow. The SA would not give me a sample of the lightest color, Porcelain (2C), saying it was too gray! She recommended the Renergie foundation and gave me a sample in Porcelain 20 (C). Its slightly peach, but an amazing finish, again, I"d like to try the shade lighter before purchasing. What do I wear everyday? A different sample!!!

I love the Bourjois Healthy mix but more the serum one than the normal. Find it stays longer & just works better with my skin. Also using the Boujois 123 foundation for going out as coverage is amazing & even with my spots, I only need a tiny bit of concealer as the foundation does the rest! Bit heavy for day-to-day though.

sweetie - deffo get a sample and see what you make of it.

Celine & Ladyelvis - yeah it's tough to actually do! You really need to be in the right frame of mind to weed out the make-up chaff; I've been threatening to do it for so long. Now if I could just do the same with my shoes and clothes I'd be laughing!

Harto - I need a new foundation like I need a hole in the head but I *reeeally* want to try the new Armani. I haven't used the Healthy Mix Serum Gel, thought it sounded like it would be for more of a drier skin type, but that's interesting that you got on well with it! Might have to give it a whirl.

I'm between 3 Bourjois, Healthy Mix, Flower Perfection and Healthy Mix serum. Using Healthy Mix serum for winter and it feels a bit more moist. Flower Perfection is ok but not amazing to me and Healthy Mix does everything I want it to really-light/medium coverage and an apricot smell. What more can a girl ask for?

I have a ton of foundations at the moment. It's a sickness. I'm slightly embarressed by it, and really must do a cull.

If I had to pick just 3 to keep, I'd also pick the EL Double Wear Light (bombproof), my Mac Studio Fix powder foundation (takes 10 secs to apply flawlessly - brill when you're running mad late!), and Rimmel Wake Me Up (makes you look lively when you're hungover as fuqqq.)

In the bin quick smart would go the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua cream - jaysus it's pore-tastic; and also the Neutrogena Healthy Skin brought all the way from the States - it's drying as hell and I don't even have dry skin!

Another vote for Teint Idole Ultra - I have compliments all the time when I'm wearing it. I try and save it up for special!!!

For day to day I tend to use whatever is handy - often just a pressed mineral powder from Sephora with some concealer.

Have tried and like v much the new Armani stuff - it just feels so lovely - not like anything I've ever tried before. I keep going back for samples as with so many other bottle of foundation knocking around, I just can't justify the spend... I also always have a bottle of Luminous Silk.

Lynnie - did you ever try the Bourjouis Healthy Mix gel? I found it better than the original for skin with a tendency towards oilyness? 16 hour wear is a lie though!
