I have oily skin that tends to go mintil when I try to change products. My current skincare wardrobe is:

1. Nimue Cleaning Gel and Conditioner (they have low levels of glycolic acid in them and are the business)

2. Aveda Botanical Kinetics Moiture Lotion (nice and light, moisturises well without causing breakouts and smells fab), although I also like the moiturisers from the Shiseido Pureness Range.

3. Origin Modern Friction - its a skin saviour!

4. I love the Liz Earle Deep Cleansing Mask too but its a bit messy so I keep the Nimue purifying mask as a backup.

5. Dermalogica Multivit Mask is great for the dry bits

Also muslin cloths are the buiness thet make a massive difference to the oul cleansing routine, I love the Liz Earle ones.

Went into Lush to get some Angels on bare skin & I was descended on by the staff vultures, I said no thank you to help to one so the next two dived on as if it was their circling and babble I wanted. I just put everything back and left. Why are they so aggressive? The smell is bad enough! Ok rant over & is anything else as good as the angels scrub?

Great post! I have very combination skin and have started using Dr. Nick Lowe's "The Secret is Out Cream cleanser" and I find it AMAZING! It says it's for more dry skin - but I have oily outbreaks and it has really cleared up my skin.. in terms of moisturisers I'm really like Dermalogica's Skin Smoothing Cream which gives a lovely soft feel and isn't too oily!

Somebody put up a suggestion last week of no moisturizing at night to allow skin to breath. I was suspicious because I've got dry skin but I gave it a go and it's the business! I'm waking up to no nasty surprise morning spots. I only moisturize in the morning now, with Cetaphil before putting on nr 7 BB cream and have had a great skin week.

My nose is about my only problem point on my face. It's often very greasy and in need of a good bit of attention but the rest of my face is fine.

Any suggestions apart from exfoliating just my nose all the time?

Well my skin is just greasy most of the year, and I have a problem with capillaries bursting, so I have to try and combat the two.

I've been using Witch Gentle Exfoliating Face Wash for about 2 months now, and its the best thing since sliced bread! Honestly my skin started to clear in about a week, and I've only gotten flare ups during my period (oh hormones), so yes it totally works.

I tried Neutrogena's Visibly Clear Spot Stress Control and that cleared up my initial spotty face. It does leave your skin ever so slightly dry, which I didn't like. Clean and Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash burned my skin for about a week, leaving my face a flaky mess. I definitely think Witch is worth a go if you've got really bad spots, which I had, and its cheap at about a fiver.

Currently using La Roche Posay Rosaliac: Skin Perfecting Anti-Redness Moisturiser, and while it thankfully doesn't clog my pores, it hasn't done anything for my reactive skin. Also cannot use any UVA creams on face because I just get humongous spots! So still looking for a good non-oily sun protectorate. Will try the Normaderm range of moisturiser though, sounds good.
