Some people can wear alot of makeup and when it’s well applied a strong lip & eye look can work…..but not in this case. I’m not a K-Stew fan but she usually looks fantastic and can wear alot of makeup – just not when it looks like this.

I quite like it in other shots, the ones above aren’t great but all in all, I like her a lot. Love her clothes too.

It’s not the tone of the lipstick that’s wrong – the *eyeshadow* has too much yellow in it. I think she’s like me and suits cool colours better. This may have worked done with greys instead of browns.

If you’re doing both eyes and face, don’t add gold to your eyeshadow. The extra colour makes the total effect clownish. Browns or greys, but not much yellow in the brown and not much blue in the grey.

If it’s done well then there’s no reason why you can’t have lips, eyes and even cheeks as well! But bit of a disaster-face from Kristen there, wow…

I regularly break the eyes and lips rule but this is just all wrong. She just can’t pull it off.

I think it might be a bit too much, and the brows are competing in there as well. The depth of intensity of the shades is fine, but maybe the tone of the eye make-up is a bit ugly.

To be fair, she does make up so so well. That W mag cover she did was *gorgeous*

I think this look can be pulled off when done tastefully but I don’t think she has this time.
