Jane, I’m with you on the freakishly small head: impossible to find a hat that fits… The only ones are in the kids section, and to be honest they are warm alright but lack the cute factor of proper lady hats.

Just use them to make a simple shirt, t-shirt or dress up to date.
I reckon you should bring the item you are trying to match with you and then once you bring it home you will probably find it matches loads of other pieces you have.

Me sew? Didnt do Home Ec so have no skills in that area at all!

Listen ANYONE can wear collars and they look great! Beaut.ie Mammy got some lace ones from ASOS (I know, she’s brilliant) and she wears them with round neck tops and they look lovely.

Also Zara have some fantastic necklaces in that look like scarves – I know that sounds weird and maybe it was just in Spain that I saw them – but they were gorgeous

And Jane I think you SHOULD give us some Gok Wan tips and get sewing!

Other then that there’s earmuffs, I love em but they’re not for everyone.

Sweetie, hmmm maybe, I still find it hard to wear big necklaces, or any necklaces to be honest….don’t really like anything around my neck unless it’s a scarf. I actually have a big chunky pearl necklace that I bought to wear to someone elses wedding around 8 years ago and it’s still in the bag I bought it in, wrapped up in tissue….bloody thing cost me around €80….back when I had money huh?!
