I used to obliviously replace the lyrics in the Fame by Lady GaGa where she says “all we care about is,runway models, Cadillacs and liquor bottles” with “all we care about is, Celtic dramas,you must learn to love a llama” still a laughing stock amongst my sisters

Pink panther you reminded me I always thought that Paul Young & Zucero ‘sensa Una Donna’ song was ‘censor Madonna (no more pain and no sorrow, censor Madonna…’. – just thought they were really offended by her sexy antics!

oh god this is brilliant

I remember getting smash hits magazine as a kid and i loved the song lyrics section as it saved you looking like a muppet singing the wrong lyrics!

totally agree about that stupid ‘my love has got no money’ song – when it came out my friends and I always wondered what the hell a ‘thrumbelise’ was and what this fella was doing with one to make her so happy

oh and I used to think the lyric ‘constant craving’ was ‘cant stand gravy’

These are so funny.. my best is that for years as a kid I thought the song ‘Greased Lightning’ was called ‘Enid Blyton’.. goooo enid blyton you’re burning up the quarter mile… oh dear. (i blame the famous five books that are still up there in our attic)

I always thought the opening line of Golden Brown was ‘Golden Brown, texture like sun, lays me down, with my Mancheeruns’… ; )

(it’s ‘with my mind she runs’ by the way haha!)
