Clarins….I got sucked into the hype of their Beauty Flash Balm and it does shag all. Complete waste of money. The Mac Strobe cream is much better, and lovely mixed with Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (I find it dries a bit to quick to blend properly but mix a dot of strobe cream into it and it blends effortlessly and is nice and dewy).

Shoot.
I was so excited with the colours of my new number 7 eye shadows but the colour faded and vanished off my eyes during the day. Rubbish.

?????? me thinks I should fix this with a new laura mercier eye cream base????

Atkin – No7 is indeed available in outlets other than Boots, but it is still Boots’ own brand – same as 17, Natural Collection, to name a few. That’s how they can do those vouchers for money off so often.

Oh great post ladies!!
Hate all No. 7 make-up – I really have never found a nice piece. Garnier BB cream – can someone say orange?! Eyeko Skinny Brush mascara – very disappointed. Thought it had great pigment but very very clumpy. All molten brown shower gels – smell gorgous but dry my skin out horribly. Kiehls Acai berry serum – rubbish + does nothing for my skin. Sleek palettes – covers my face in fall out even if they are cheap, not worth it. Boots botanics range – rubbish (recently bought the clay mask + it broke my skin out).
I would say I have a few more but just can’t remember them now….

Recently ran out of foundation so went in to get a smashbox one only to be accosted by a benefit lady telling me they are gone out of business and convinced me to buy the new and “fabulous” benefit one – Its SHIT, will never buy anything from them again EVER, back to the old reliable Estee Lauder double wear light, can’t go wrong

Until recently i thought the same about No7 but i have tried the Matte foundation and the illuminating foundation and they are Brilliant. The Matte one lasts all day and it takes a bit to shift it off your face. Maybe your nose if you had a cold. Its the first foundation that I have found matched my face and I have tried them all, Bobbi Brown, YSL, Mac, Lancome, Benefit, Estee Lauder. I dont agree with people not being into make up only use it fair enough i dont use any of their other make up products to comment more.

I found Bobbi Brown, Lancome and Benefit foundations awful they just dont do anything for me.
I agree with benefit being over priced and not great at all. Loreal’s new nail varnishes are not great they peel off in the shower and swimming pool so ladies beware (that is with base and top coat by nails inc)

The Vichy Normaderm range is not worth the hype in my eyes – it ruined my skin, made my cheeks very red and very irritated and gave me spots

The Clinique 3 step is just as bad in my eyes , if not worse! Really irritated my cheeks and took ages to recover from this! Thankfully I recieved samples so ended up not purchasing the range.

Despite liking the No7 Poppy King lipsticks I find that most of the NO7 range over priced and most of them are a bit boring (for want of a better word) or they dont suit skin.

I’m not that bothered by Benefit – I tried one or two things in the past and to be honest, I found their products average – I don’t think they were worth the price, plus I’m not made about the packaging.

Samesies, i have one or two things from most brands. Benefit tints, mac and UD shadows, clinique and shu mascaras. Chanel nail polishes are so on the naughty list though, i got one as a gift, it looks beautiful but i can’t handle the maintenance on them. Fabulous shades but god almighty, fix the quality to match. Also got a beautiful shu eyeshadow in june, had high hopes but the fallout is desperate from something so high-end. I love the colour but was really disappointed.
