Currently reading Gone With The Wind and it’s a true epic. Has me totally hooked. Staying up half the night to read its so engrossing.

I LOVE to read great thrillers. My latest favorite, which I read during my summer vacation, is “The In-Ko-Pah Spirit” by Wally Runnels. It is a fast-paced story about a mercenary who is paid to track down a rebellious member of a Mexicali drug cartel. Even though the book is fiction, there is a lot of truth to it. I found it to be extremely entertaining and interesting.

+1 on the eReader Recs.. I’ve got a Kobo & lurve it! (even though I was totally opposed in the beginning!) I love how I can bring a heap of books with me without breaking my back! I will read pretty much anything I can get my hands on, but I love Lee Child’s books and in the last couple of months have started to read Trudi Canavan books too, they’re great. And can’t beat a good Marian Keys to keep you laughing!

First of all, I am also a +1 for the Kindle. Love mine. And I thought I would hate not having a real book.

Has anyone else read “Keeping it in the Family” by Sinead Moriarty? Probably one of the funniest books I have ever read. Tried a couple of her others since and wasnt too impressed by them but maybe others will love them.

Hunger Games – love love love. I was slow to get into them but half way through the first I was hooked.

Anything by Jilly Cooper: Riders, Rivals Polo etc are definitely great holiday reads.

Well, since I’m staying in good ol’ Ireland, I find the Harry Potter series brilliant, an oldie but a goldie.

For a lighter read, well not a whole series thing, the Curious Incident of The Dog in the Night-time.

Kindle is probably great but you can’t beat the good paper or hard back.

Just after finishing “Shadow of Night2 by Deborah Harkness ,it’s the sequel to a Discovery of Witches ” and was a really quick read but tottaly enjoyable ,yes there are witches & vampires but it’s a more grown up version of Twilight ( read alll them too ,not bad ,bit tame ) but these book especially the sequel are a bit more ” adult ” ahemm in content in places. Can’t wait for the last book in the trlogy to come out now but I’ll probably have a year to wait At least J. K. Rowlings new book for adults is out in Sept called ” The Casual Vacancy ” !

Tana French’s four books – which must be read in order of publication
Christian Jungersen – The Exception
Henning Mankell – the Wallander books are all great

Another +1 for the Kindle. Best. Invention. Ever. That saves me a suitcase full of books going on hols!

Lisa Gardner and Karin Slaughter are good for thrillers. Also second Karen Rose who was mentioned earlier.
