Great post Emma, enjoy your holiday. Did you happen to notice any suncream bargains while you were stocking up. Am looking for some factor 50 for the kids for holidays but its all very expensive.

NMS – ME TOO!!! I’m dreadful.
I spend weeks trying to get organised making lists, shopping for enough stuff for the entire Von Trapp family. But leave everything til the night before:

1. try to squeeze an entire Boots store in my case
2. de-fuzzing, de-scaling & de-whitening takes exactly 5 times longer than expected, due to 11 months & 2 weeks of neglect.
3. panic because maybe I forgot to pack something, unpack, recheck (nope, all there), fail miserably at getting everything back into the case.
4. Squeeeeeeze a few more things into himself’s case on the sly. Just in case. Well that eyeshadow palette only has 8 shades of purple…
5. Phew, bedtime at last! Why’s himself getting up? WHAAA???! We’ve to leave in 30 min??!?!

Rinse & Repeat EVERY holiday. I never learn…

NMS – ahaha me too. I was actually banished to the spare room the night before one holiday as we had a crack of dawn start but I was still doing my tan at about 1am

What are peoples experience of spray tans and a sun holiday. Do you still get any glow from the sun. I’m milk white without tan and don’t get a tan well

Have a fab holiday. My holiday prep is usually waxing, pedicure,eyelash tint, shellac nails and a spray tan sometimes.

Hope you havea great time, Emma! I think most of us beauty addicts get a little carried away pre holiday. I am a little lazy and only usually manage to get a pedi and defuzz and and eyelash tint, that really is the winner for me!

Does anyone remember the Boots ad with the girls getting ready for their holidays? There’s one scene where a girl has been rushing around doing the beautification all night and she gets into bed setting her alarm clock, only to get out of bed 2 minutes later as its time to get up. Well that’s me the night before holidays.

I got himself a Micro Pedi for Fathers Day and it is the business, sorts the feet out in minutes with so little effort, then a good soak and a peppermint rub. Silcocks base in cotton socks and hey presto, brand new feet the next day!!
Ready for any sandy beach…… I wish I was going away….
