Sadly for my wallet, I’m loving this at the moment. I was using the No 7 BB stuff and then when I got pregnant my skin went BATSHIT and almost everything disagreed with it. So far the Origins isn’t making me break out, feels like it’s doing my skin good, and the lightest shade is perfect on me. Would prefer a higher SPF but I’m alternating with La Roche Posay Anthelios Tinted on really sunny days (ahahahahahaha yes I know) which also doesn’t irritate my skin but looks a bit shinier.

Hi Sarah*, if you’re based in Dublin, I’d recommend the Origins counter in Arnotts, they’ve friendly and helpful staff.

Gracie, oooh Dr. Jart+ has made it to Boots…! I will definitely be checking their BB cream out.

I love this product. It really improves the texture of my skin and I don’t have to use any make-up with it. I have the no.2 shade and it really gives a nice colour to my skin without looking like I’m wearing make-up. I got so many comments from people saying my skin looked so healthy and about the natural glow I had which is nice this time of year. It is a really nice product. You do have to rub it in well to blend and a little goes a long way. The smell going on is beautiful but it doesn’t linger that would make it annoying. I also got the wash which smells just as nice. I’m definately an Origins convert.

I have recently purchased the Origins A Perfect world BB tinted moisturiser, shade 02. I had been using their Vita-Zing for everyday which I loved but decided to try this instead. I do love the texture and how it makes my skin look but I personally should have bought the 01 shade as I am quite pale and even with blending the 02 is too much for me. SO be sure to test in the store what colour would suit. The lady in the shop said most people go for the 02. I was using the vita-zing and now want to use this just to improve the look of my skin but not look like I’m wearing make-up. I purchased mine in Debenhams in Cork city (mahon doesn’t do Origins). The smell of the perfect world is really nice.

Can you please do a review on Dr. Jart+ BB creams? I saw them (there are 4 types) at Boots yesterday. They are priced between 24-30 Euros.

Hi Kiki, I agree that it would be nice if Origins had a day moisturiser and a BB/tinted moisturiser with SPF 50. F.y.i. in the meantime though that they do have ‘a perfect world’ and ‘brighter by nature’ moisturisers with SPF 35 which is still quite decent. I find them fine by themselves on work days when I’m not spending a lot of time outdoors.

But again with Origins (and I’m an Origins junkie, I have or have tried almost every skin and sun care product they’ve ever made) their built in SPF is NEVER high enough! What’s it going to take to make them stick an SPF 50 into something so I don’t have to use a separate sun block?
