Regardless of the phone. What I don’t like about this incident, is that Peaches lied in her tweet on the 6th and subsequently after the pictures were published by three national newspapers. She didn’t mention a photographer in her first rant of tweets when it happened. (Because she didn’t see anyone) Is why she put claim to Astala being strapped in. She should have shared her experience that mothers do make mistakes. Portraying this “Supermum” Image only makes other mothers feel worse when they make a mistake.

Ffs! This could happen to ANY of us. Baby in buggy,buggy hits pothole,buggy falls,mother panics. Yes,baby should have been strapped in,but they cud have been loose / not fastened properly. We’ll never know.The poor girl prob got such a fright that she got into a total tizz- and we all know logic goes out the window when we panic. She may not have realised she was still on ph in the few moments she was snapped by this rag newspaper. Either way,who cares? In all Fairness,have people Nothin better to talk about? This really annoys me. Agree with others who feel we shouldnt be giving this rubbish from such a crap paper any attention

If the person that took that photo saw the same thing happen to someone else they would rush over and see if she and the baby was ok.

The media no longer view celebrity’s as people they see them as objects that don’t have feelings etc.

They should be ashamed to publish that, they have no concern for peoples well being but their own.

A young couple had something similar happen outside my parents shop one evening as we were closing up.. newborn baby and they were in awful shock over it, we ended up spending more time calming them down than the baby, just getting them calm enough to get them onto the 24-hr doctor service so they could have their baby checked.

I once had the buggy with my nephew in it go over, I was only a young ‘un and I was TERRIFIED, I’d imagine if I had a kid, that even if you’re careful accidents happen.

My beef with Peaches, is not that she was on the phone or dropped her baby, it’s that she went on Twitter after and said her baby was strapped in and so was unhurt- Clearly that baby was not strapped in, why lie? This more than anything makes me think she’s still quite immature.

I’ll probably have the head eaten off me for saying this, but as others have mentioned they’re annoyance at this post giving the daily mail a mention and adding fuel to the fire etc…. I have kinda been feeling lately that some posts on the blog are for SEO purposes. Obviously there are still posts about beauty and I mean, sure, this is a post that relates to women so it’s not totally out of place but it’s just a vibe I get and although it won’t stop me reading the blog it does annoy me.
