I use Lush shampoo bars and find them great. Then again my hair has never been dyed or treated so doesn’t ask for too much in haircare stakes! I love their American Cream conditioner, vanilla smell is to die for! Can smell it all day after using it!

They all sound amazing (but that’s Lush for you). I’d be interested to know if the products that claim to care for coloured/treated hair actually have any long-term effects. I’d be happy to switch to something organic AND affordable! If not I’ll just stick with John Masters!

Lush isn’t one of those places I’d ever associate with haircare, actually the whole smell of the shop scares me but the shampoo sounds like a good ‘un for coloured hair.

I have poke straight hair, so there’s no waveyness for me, so what I do is I spray it onto my barrel brush and then brush it through the ends of wet hair.
It works a treat for taming longer, static prone locks.

@ Lisa – I hit submit before I thought about this – have you tried Lush’s R&B? It is a hair mositeriser and can be used on wet or dry hair as a serum. It smells lovely (if you like Jasmine!) and it gives a bit of weight to the hair. A little really does go a long way so it lasts ages! It is more suited to dry hair.

@ Lisa – from the couple of times I’ve used it I find the Salt Spray does way your hair down slightly (butnot too much!) so can be used to tame your hair a bit. It has a bit of hold to it as well – I don’t think it’s just for wavey definition (even though that is how they are selling it) – if that makes any sense!

Anyone got any tips on what the Salt Spray is best used for? For example I’m looking for something to tame my hair when it’s freshly washed …

I have the Sea Salt Spray – I’ve only used it a couple of times so far and so far I like it. My hair is weird about its waviness (I’m convinced my hair has a mind of its own). I purchased Sea Salt Spray the same day I got a my hair cut in to a style that I don’t have to straighten every time I wash it and it is good for giving slightly more definition plus control to the wave without too much product build up.

I like the sound of Shine So Bright but haven’t purchased it as I wasn’t convinced it would make a difference to splut ends.

I didn’t really look at their shampoos and conditioners when I was there as I have enough on the go at the moment – I may have alook when I run out and purchase something depending on my haor type at the time!

I picked up Shine So Bright around 2 weeks ago. I keep it at my desk at work (I just have too many similar products at home). Now, I apply this when I’m doing some reading, etc. It actually comes in handy. I like it enough and the price is not so bad.

The staff talked to me about the Honey Shampoo while I was there (eventhough I didn’t really wanted to but you know the Lush staff -_-). I liked the sound of it but I was worried that it might leave my hair greasy feeling like some conditioning shampoos do. I decided to wait for more reviews and they are pretty good so far. Thanks for the review Emma!
