I’m using Estee Lauder Double Wear Zero-smudge Volume & Lift mascara (after reading a review on beaut.ie!!)

Have to say it’s pretty good stuff. It lifts and separates lashes, and provides volume without the icky “tarantula legs” effect. Most importantly for me, there’s no panda eyes (which I ALWAYS seem to get) as it really is zero-smudge, once it’s on it doesn’t budge (and I wore it in 40 degree heat two weeks ago – didn’t move!) It’s a tubing-formula mascara, so it comes off easily when I wash my face, which is also a plus for me as I hate mascaras that run all over when I remove them and stay loitering around at my lower lash line even after I use heavy-duty eye makeup remover…

Only downside is that it seems to have dried out rather quickly. So on the search for a new one – loving all the suggestions here! Tempted to try a Lancome mascara, haven’t had one in years, was addicted to Diorshow for a while

I love essence multi action for everyday, and maybe at the weekend or if i’m gong out, benefit they’re real all the way!! Black as a priests socks and definitely one of the best presents my dad has ever given me

I like black mascara but also green and blue ones. I also like waterproof mascara but it is always so hard to get off. So, I tried the Clinique High Impact Curling mascara. It turns into “tubes” and it comes off with plain hot water. That’s it. The other cool thing that I found out about it, that is really true, is that if you coat another mascara over it, it sticks to the “tubes” and it all comes off with hot water. No more raccoon eyes. This is my new thing to wear.

I also have liked the Lancome Hypnose Drama and Flextencils. L’Oreal mascaras are great too. Maybelline in Royal Blue is great but it only comes in Great Lash, which always feels so dry to me.

Bobbi brown mascara, think it’s called definition r something. Lovely separated, natural long lash effect. Love it, until it’s time to take it off and that’s a task and a half. Not even eye make up remover will budge it, and it goes weird and comes off for hours in lumps. A version that would simply wipe off with make up remover would have me delighted

Big and lush and length and volume from…….Boots 17 Va Va Voom. I’d only recently rebought the Clinique High Impact Curling at squizzles of pounds, but the Adv card machine offered me a Va Va Voom for three quid. Well it would have been rude not to accept, wouldn’t it? I’m amazed at the quality – and I only use one coat (I don’t like the crunchiness of multiple coats). Plus it doesn’t smudge or give me panda eyes but is still massively easier to remove than the tube based formula of the Clinique. Will definitely rebuy.

I got the Catrice one last week, delighre @ 3.99.
Put it on one morning and thought it was class, nice brush, good volume. But then a few hours later I look in the mirror and..I look like a panda gone wrong:( It’s as if it didn’t dry, big obvious smudges on my upper eyelid AND below my bottom lashes. I cleaned it off and covered up with concealer and BANG, a couple of hours later the smudges re-appeared. I have quite long eyelashes and thought that was why it happened the first time but it must not dry properly because it hasn’t happened with other mascaras so badly.
I just can’t wear it knowing I’ll have to fix it every couple of hours, so disappointed. Gonna go back to Maybelline Cat Eyes I think, love the shape of the brush, like Falsies except less feathery.

I got L’Oreals Telescopic False Lash as a bday pressie this weekend and after playing around with it a bit, I’m loving my curly black lashes! I prefer the Max Factor False Lash for day time though.
