God no, English student have been paying fees for Scottish universities for years. They are the only EU country (along with Wales) to have to pay fees to Scottish universities.There is a whole big thing about it over here.

Plenty of people in their twenties after college flit between unemployment, part time work and various jobs. It doesn’t mean she was sitting around Waiting for a proposal.

I’m not in the least upset about Middleton’s lack of a work ethic, or about anything else to do with her either. My post above was in response to your question as to what she needs to do to earn ‘special respect’. I already said (at least once), that what happened to her is wrong, and that she does of course deserve privacy, but no more or less than you, I or any other woman – or man, come to think of it.

At the end of the day, she owes her fame entirely to the man she married – who, in turn, owes his fame to having been born to the ‘right’ parents. I’ve nothing against her, but I’m damned if I’m going to put her on a pedestal either. Her boobs are no more or less sacrosanct than yours or mine.

Anyway, whether Waity Kaitie’s education was funded by the taxpayer or by her very rich family, the fact remains that it was wasted. She essentially spent the best part of a decade twiddling her thumbs waiting for Wills to propose. So while she certainly has the same right to privacy as anyone else – famous or ‘ordinary’ – I don’t see her as someone worthy of special respect. For all her fame and wealth, she hasn’t actually DONE anything.
