I have to say I’m disappointed with the Chanel polishes too, the latest I tried was ‘June’, and it was just absolutely abysmal. It goes on streaky, no matter the amount that you are trying to put on. Second coat ditto. It didn’t take 3 days for it to start to chip. So not impressed. I’m in love with the colours, but the quality does not live up to the Chanel hype imho. I had more or less the same experience with their ‘April’, although it wasn’t as streaky. At the time, my nails were done with OPI A to Zurich, and I wanted something close to that shade. I was much more impressed with the OPI one, I have to say, it didn’t budge for 7 days.

Love the colour of that chanel nail polish,but have to agree with lynniedoll- find them v poor quality,the shades are fabulous but chip within a day on my nails.I just can’t justify spending on.another! Picked up a coral sally Hansen polish last week,adore for the summer. Loving bobby Browns shimmer brick to give my cheeks a bit of glow over the summer too

Emma – Coralista is fab, I love it on my toes. When I’m a bit more flush I’ll give the Chanel NP another go and see if its improved.
I believe in second chances specially for Chanel….

Great summery picks and pics! I love wearing a nice bright nail or a wash of a bright but sheer lipstick. Rimmel’s Coralista nail polish or Barry M in Coral are both stunners.

@LynnieDoll, the recent polishes I’ve tried have had no issues with chipping or longevity at all. Holiday and Distraction (gorgeous coral/pink, was released in May) both last 4-5 days on me with no chips which is pretty amazing on my hands.

Loving the Chanel nail colours, but sorry, I’m always really disappointed in the quality. They just chip to buggary, and there too expensive for that. I never have problems with my OPI/Leighton Denny/Rimmel ones, so I’m putting it on correctly – but Chanel really lets me down.

I bought a Chanel Chance summer set in duty free a while back, one is a sheer body mist and the other is a scented body oil and there just lovely and fresh. Want to try the Cristalle now…..
