Think it is gorge. I have blonde hair so I am gagging to try a couple of bluey-purple streaks for a night out. I’d need it washed out for work though :-/

I actually really liked how it came out in Kandee Johnson’s video-tutorial (she’s a dark brunette). I’ll use my 11 year old sister as guinea pig though before I decide if I want to go through the trouble myself.

I’ve done this, it’s swell. Worked on my brown hair fiiiiiine, though did mark the back of my white top a lot and hasn’t completely washed out of that.

I think it’s adorable and even though I’m Fifty. Two. Years. Old,, I would absolutely give it a go. It’s all about context and application. To the office? Nope, not even at 18. A few streaks and out with the girls? Yup, absolutely. Too cute.

This looks brilliant. Being a natural redhead, with fine hair I’m constantly being told by my sister-in-law hairdresser there’s nothing she can do for me. I like my natural colour, but I if want to change there’s all sorts of stripping involved so this temporary solution would be great.

As for age, I’m biologically 29++++++ but I don’t let that deter me from long hair, short skirts, shorts, glitter nails, glitter mascara, glitter. I am however 29———- in my head. Edie Brit – my hero.

I dunkno over 30?s office isnt gonna allow red or striped hair these days.

Again, don’t think it’s an age thing, more the kind of business you work in – you could totally do it in my office and I’m *coughnearly40cough* (you young things could then no doubt all laugh at “grandma”‘s inappropriate trendy hair and suggest that I get a lovely glossy older lady rinse like that Davina McCall off the telly and some nice muted clothes from the M&S “Classic” range. I understand a good quiet suit, low heels, a hint of powder, and maybe a little bright neckscarf – daring! – are very distracting from us older girls’ wrinkles and neck wattles).

I think it looks fun, though TBH I’m not sure if I’d go through all the faff for a couple of days of colour, especially as my hair is very dark. If I do go the My Little Pony route I’d do a proper bleach the ends and dip-dye. Tempted actually…
