Hi jane, couldn’t agree more with you a good coat is a great investment, i bought a fabulous coat 4 years a go and it looks like new every year. I love to throw it on over jeans, it always makes me feel really dressed up even if i’m not!

LynnieDoll, ahh I see, I have short legs, you have short arms it would seem. Fecking alterations, the bane of my existence. I’m an awful one for wanting to wear my new purchase immediately and am gutted if it’s too long and looks stoopid.

EvieM – I’m 5’1….all of ZARA sleeves (and other shops too) reach my knuckles.
With coats I don’t mind taking them to be altered as you get a few years out of them. But you know when you buy something you just want to wear it, and not wait for it to be fixed!!

LynnieDoll, exactly how shortarse are we talking here? I’m only 5ft 2 and a half (yes the half counts) and have no problem with Zara coats.

Aisling don’t be tempting me with leather sleeves, I used to have a cream coat years ago and it was a nightmare to keep clean and that was before the mucky monster arrived. God only knows the state he’d make of a white coat if he got his hands on it.

Ooh – I love the thought of you doing something from Petite ranges or the likes! It’s part of the reason why I find clothes shopping so frustrating! (Don’t even start me on shoe shopping for my small feet!!)
