Hi all
I would just like to share with anyone who is genuinely interested in giving up or trying to stop smoking, I tried everything from patches, hypnosis, books, gum, you name I tried it, but then a friend introduced me to e-smoke.ie
and since I tried it I have’nt looked back, not that I am completely free of the cravings but with this substitute I know I am free of all the chemicals and smoke which have been harming my body and personality for nearly forty years, my sense of smell is still returning, my fourteen year old son told me I don’t smell like a cigarette ash tray anymore, which did shock me a bit, but I was also greatful for his honesty because it made me realise how many other people would have got that smell and not be as blunt as a fourteen year old child.

Well done Lorraine, keep up the good work.

I tried everything and I had withdrawals and mood swings and constant munchies and I hated the e-cig, but last week I read Allen Carr’s Easyway for Women to Stop Smoking and I have not wanted one cigarette since I finished the book. Haven’t had mood swings, cravings, or the munchies and I live with a smoker. Best book ever written, wish I’d bought it years ago.

Brilliant to finally wake up in the morning with a clear chest, an actual sense of smell, and without breath that would slay a horse.

CASS IF YOUR OUT THERE I WOULD LOVE TO GET INFO ON THEM BIG TIME.
I SMOKE MENTHOL CIGS ALL THE TIME AND ITS THE PRICE OF SMOKING MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE NOW THAT IS REALLY DRIVING ME CRAZY. I DONT GO OUT AND I DONT DRINK AND I REALLY DO LOVE MY CIGS BUT ALSO REALLY HATE THE PRICE OF THEM AND THE WAY THEY MAKE ME FEEL HEALTH WISE AND OF COURSE THE BLOODY AWFULL SMELL SO PLEASE PLEASE CAN YOU SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE WITH ME ON WHERE I CAN GET THEM.
AND BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE OUT THERE TRYING TO QUIT AND A BIG HUGE CONGRATS TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE QUIT, WELL DONE YOU.

I’ve never commented before but love beaut….was compelled to reply as I have been using ecigs for nearly three years and not a real cig in sight…used to smoke 20 a day now i have pink,silver, white, wooden, tube, box, pipe ecigs….strawberry, maple waffle, flu cured tobacco, grape and every other flavour under the sun!!!!if I may say there are good irish/uk online sites that sell ecigs that are a million times better(and cheaper) than the pharmacy ones…a word of warning though if considering these don’t buy any that are subscription based or ones that claim that a cartridge is equal to twenty cigarettes…this is an alarm bell that the site is a scam….open for questioning as a long term user if anyone has questions…I know pretty much all there is to know practically and scientifically speaking : )

Congrats on the huge step forward Lorraine and for bringing ecigs into the spotlight, I personally know a lot of people they have helped ditch or reduce smoking : )

Well done to all of the recent quitters, and the not so recent quitters too!
I think you really have to want to stop smoking to do it properly, if you are doing it because of peer pressure then its never going to be a permanent thing.

My Dad found out I was smoking when I was about 17. He bought a packet of the cheapest, most horrible cigs you could get and made me eat them. In front of him. I was sick immediately after and green for about a week. I was off cigs for about a month, the thought of the way they tasted put me right off. Until I went to a party and smelled the sweet smell smoke and I was back on them. I can’t remember when exactly I gave them up, but I stopped cold turkey and that was it. I might have a sneaky puff every now and again (I never have a whole cig, just a puff or two from a friend), but I have not bought a packet of my own in over 10 years now. And I don’t miss them at all.
