Have used the Karites little sachet and found it great, I got more than 1 use out of it as i just concentrated on the ends. My hair was in a real tangles mess as I have trouble with hard water and must say this product worked much better than a L'oreal mask which I found no use at all.

Using the John Frieda Full Repair Deep Conditioning mask at the moment and love it. Having tried conditioners like Aussie brand and Dove with argan oil to cope with the almost daily use of hair straighteners my hair always felt dry and brittle. This mask has made a huge difference. I have to say that I did accidentally knock it into the bath and as Emma said it is quite runny so trying to save it was next to impossible!. Think I got it for about €4.60 in Dunnes. I also use L'Oreal Elvive anti-frizz serum with argan oil but will give the John Frieda Deep Infusion Oil a go when this runs out.

I have the L'oreal Triple Resist and find it brilliant. I think the L'oreal Elvive range of hair products are on sale for half price in Tesco at the moment. Picked up the small bottle of hair oil for ¢3 during the week.

Sooz: As far as I can remember it takes about 3 months for your hair to go back to pre baby standards. I recommend the Head High tablets for after your baby is born they really helped sort my hair out.

Lori- I first wash my hair and condition. While the conditioner or treatment sits in my hair, I do rest of what I do in the shower: wash (and sometimes exfoliate) face, shave, loofah (not sure if this can be used as a verb but wth), use pumice stone on heels, etc. Rinsing the conditioner is usually the last thing I do (Well, I rinse my back and face for conditioner residues to prevent (b)acne after that).

Perfect timing for this post I was looking for a new hair mask, I just finished a tub of the red wella brilliance and was looking for a cheaper option, I will defo be taking a look at these ones. I have balayaged / ombre hair too it dries & tangles so easy.

A random question though what do you all do whilst waiting the 3-10 minutes for the mast to work its magic? hop out of the shower?

The best hair mask ever is Lush's H'suan wen hua is the best for dead ends. I use it just at the ends and leave it in for hours. I then wash it our with Lush's Big Shampoo twice, it's an amazing shampoo and takes out all of the residue of the mask while retaining the gloss and healthiness of the positive effects of the treatment. I have used loads of really expensive products but those two are definitely the best combo for a really deep conditioning
