Looks great, I was about to buy Bare minerals but think I might go for this instead and just scrape the last out of my current foundation till September! Is it very messy to apply though, think I need to get myself some sort of bib to protect my clothes from mineral foundations!

Great review Emma, the foundation looks really lovely on you.
Mineral foundations have always got the better of me, so really looking forward to give this a go. Fingers crossed it will cover these freckles of mine!!

Oh I got all excited reading the article – till I got to ‘Skin Illusion Loose Powder Foundation will be out from September’.
I want it and I want it now, but I don’t want to wish my life away and for summer to be over. The weather is rubbish, but at least it’s slightly warm rubbish.
Dilemma!

Thanks Emma, hopefully there’s a nice pale one in there! I was shade 103 in their everlasting foundation and really wanted to try the ever matte but the palest I could find in shops here was 104, even though there’s a 103 on their website. I wasn’t happy…

Halo kind of “sticks” to the YSL so it doesn’t blend so easy. I used to use Halo over Armani Luminous Silk and it was perfect. I’d rather sacrifice the Halo than the YSL though. We are very much in love and I am going to stop using Armani as soon as my bottle is finished.

@atkin, I haven’t tried it but I don’t see why not – what’s the issue with using Halo over the YSL?
