I don’t know if I’m so into Lush that I would go out and buy a gift set at full price. I’d buy individual items that I specifically want… they are a great gift though! Don’t they do a huge clear out of them on St. Stephens Day and they are all half price?

I’m going to buy myself one. My man wouldn’t ‘get it’ enough to think to buy me nice soap in the same way I didn’t get why he bought a custom made electrical system for £2000 (and I think he’s rounded that figure down!) for his ‘vintage’ car. He buys Tesco Value handwash instead of shower gel because it’s cheaper and ‘it’s all just soap, no?’

I love their pre-wrapped gift boxes. I have advised my three brothers to buy their girlfriends Lush gift sets! I’ll be ticking quite a few people off my list too with those wonderful boxes of happiness.

@ Lisa – I’m glad I’m not the only one that finds the scent of Snow Fairy at bit sickly sweet. I love their Jasmine based products but can appreciate that they can be a bit overpowering for some people.

Sadly I think Snow Fairy (like all their sweet scents) is vile: I actually really like a lot of Lush stuff but can’t bear the candy and/or jasmine scents, they make me feel slightly ill. Also because they’re so strong, they’re what the shops smell of. Bleurgh. I do like the orange and tequila shower gel, though.

My favourite festive thing they did EVER is the Snow Showers shower jelly (smells like an even nicer version of Jo Malone Orange Blossom), which they aren’t doing this year in shops but are on their website so I now have two tubs of it. Nom.

I was in Lush the other day and they are doing a Japanese scarf gift wrap thing. The scarves were lovely. As I understand it, you choose your Lush stuff, the scarf costs an extra €4.95 and then they wrap your stuff in the scarf for you.
Thought that would make a great pressie for my scarf-lush-loving buddies.

The only Christmas limited addition item that I’ve purchased (and repurchased) is the Snowcake Soap – the texture is so creamy and scent is comforting – I think it’s changed a bit since its first incarnation, but that is inevitable!
