“Up!” made me cry more than anything I’ve ever seen. That montage at the beginning is heart-breaking

Lassie, The Littlest Hobo, Watership Down, Bambi. Basically anything involving animals will make me weep like a baby. I won’t watch “Marley and Me” for this reason.

The News often has me in tears too. I couldn’t watch Una Butler on the late late the other week as I was too upset. When that awful thing happened I was inconsolable for ages.

Funerals – even if I dont’ know the person that died. I always get so sad for their family that I end up crying. It’s very embarrassing!

The film ‘Fly Away Home’ about a flock of orphaned geese and how a little girl (Anna Paquin) raises them but has to get them to their breeding ground by flying (in a little plane thing) with them. Gets me every time.

Oh, so good to see I’m not alone! I too get weepy over animals – or even strange creatures. The Dusney film skill and Stitch made me bawl.

And SLH, that was me who did the summer reading thing – thanks so much! Very glad you got some good recommendations out of it.

The notebook actually left me inconsolable, I was recounting the experience to the girls in work the following day & fell asunder again – scarlet!

But then again I am very, very soft & cry at a lot lol

My mother tells me my bladder is too close to my eyes. After looking back over that list, I’m inclined to believe her!

Any book by Pat Conroy. I have never cried so much at a book since The Prince of Tides. Oceans of tears. The Great Santini, The Lords of Discipline, The Water is Wide… Buckets. Of. Tears.

I once watched The House of Sand and Fog on an airplane. Big mistake. Tears everywhere.
