I've always had an addiction to blush. Bobbi Brown Pot Rouges and Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes are my favorites. My recent addition is Benefit High beam dotted on top of my under eye concealer. You actually look awake for a few hours!

I started using blusher just before my 30s. Not necessarily because i thought i needed waking up, but i just got less scared of new things and liked the pop of colour it gives. I was also pretty cynical about it before that, but finally i "got" it.
I use cha cha tint, which has totally superceded posietint as my go-to. I thought coral would never suit me til i tried it out. I also have a decent urban decay cream blush that if i'm honest i mainly got for the compact. My most recent is MUFE hd cream blush, which i really rather like, although it's a lot easier to be cack-handed with than the chacha tint.

I forgot to apply blusher one day and people in work kept asking was I not well! Unbelievable the difference it makes. And ALWAYS have brow pencil on or I look like I don't have any brows. Had grown them back in recently but then got tweezer happy after a few glasses of wine and back to square one. It had taken me about a year to grow them back too!

I (unsurprisingly) agree with Aisling - Nars is so flattering to pale Irish people. It adds a lovely healthy glow. I'd also suggest the Bobbi Brown one I mentioned in the post - it's a cream blush and it's nice and sheer.

ladyelvis, you're so right about the glitter. I had a great clear glitter gel that I got on my J1 which I was very fond of and which was less flaky than most but even so, I'd find myself sparkling several days later.

Anyway, it's good to know I'm not alone in reaching for the blush as the years go by! It really is amazing what a difference it can make.

And Miss Y, ha, I look a lot older (and less blonde) than that lovely model!

Redser - Irish women love Nars Orgasm because it's the perfect peachy pink for us and suits most fair skin tones. Have a look at the guide above where we have a makeup artist showing you how exactly how to apply powder blusher too and I know you'll be hooked!

I am in my early 30's with 3 small children so to make me look like I have slept and look alive I swear my highlighters (I am a bit of an addict), under eye concealers and blush. My Hg products are mac strobe liquid, cream colour base in Luna and mineralize skin finish in lightscapade. For under eyes I love mac moisture cover concealer and for blush nars multiple in orgasm (I find cream products give more of a youthful glow). I have also recently discovered clarins beauty flash balm & eye balm...wouldn't be without the flash balm

I'm in my mid 30's & have been pondering recently about starting with a bit of blusher to aid my very pale self

Thing is  I haven't a clue about using/applying blusher as I always shied away from it - I only started wearing make up regularly in my early 20's & then when I started I thought my cheeks were red enough without emphasising them more.

I get confused with all the different ones so any advice what to try - is Nars the go to product?
