I can’t view them….. It just shows the make up winners. Is it me?

Dying to see them, need inspiration, I’ve about 2 days left of my night cream

  • LynnieDoll says:

Panic over….. I’m viewing now. Thank you.

  • LauraLou says:

oooh interesting! Agree with the moisturiser, has changed the boyfs skin for the good :D

  • EllieSausage says:

Wow, surprised to see Clinique win in the moisturiser section…I’ve heard so many horror stories about their skincare i’ve stayed welll clear….maybe i’ve been missing out!

Now even more motivation to try Trilogys Rosehip wonder product!!!

  • Ive just bought the Clinique moisturiser .. dying to try it now

  • LoCo says:

Thats decided so must buy Dermalogica Multivitamin Power recovery.

Also surprised to see Clinique win in the moisturiser section, I’ve had such bad experience with both of these, got rashes that took ages to go away. But I have very sensitive skin so it might be fine for normal people!

  • Andrea says:

I have to say I agree with most winners, now i just have to try the dermalogica mask i guess :) but by the time the awards finish I’ll be flat broke at this rate

How on earth is that Clinique moisturiser number one?! It is the most bland, basic moisturiser going that needs a gazillion other products to work with it. 3 steps? yeah right! No SPF, no anti-aging, no other benefits at all – if you want those you’ve to buy additional products. Maybe if there was a category for overall skincare regimes then Clinique might be up there, but for the moisturiser on it’s own – no way!!

I must be the only one to like the Clinique, though it wouldn’t be my favourite. Must check put the Lrp moisturiser, I’ve become addicted to their products since discovering the for the small mans eczema.

  • Atkin says:

Another head scratcher here for Clinique. Like LoCo I had a nightmare with it when I used it around 10 years ago. It took my face a good 6 months to recover from it. I have adult acne but I have it under complete control with the help of Vichy Normaderm and Duac, old scars are gone and I haven’t had a spot in over a year. (Touch wood!)

  • Corrie says:

Have to say I’m surprised by a lot of the winners, I agreed with nearly all the make up ones but hardly any of my faves made the skincare list!

  • *Aisling* says:

I’ll check and see what margin Clinique won by – I think it was a big one! Give me a minute

  • fififinx says:

So far, NOTHING I have voted for has won :(
Totally agreeing with the Atkin and LoCo about Clinique being a strange one to win. I remember a post about Clinique and as far as I remember the overall opinion was that it’s a bit pants. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind it, but compared with some notable brands that were missing (Vichy springing instantly to my biased mind)you have to kinda wonder…I wouldn’t have rated it outstanding especially given its price-point. Meh.

  • Atkin says:

I do love Clinique All About Eyes, and Take the Day Off but that particular moisturiser did not agree with me.

  • littlesis says:

I love these awards, so interesting! I’m also surprised about the Clinique. Glad to see La Roche Posay’s stuff up there, and Trilogy too, they have brilliant effective products.

  • MollC says:

I’m also very surprised by the Clinique win. I used it years ago and it still stands out in my mind as one of the most useless moisturisers I’ve ever used. Same goes for their eye cream. Now my skin is particularly awkward (I seem to react to anything that’s hypo-allergenic: anything by Simple is also an enemy) so obviously it works for some people but yeah, just very surprised that it’s so popular. I was happy to see the Lavera night cream in there. I’ve found it to be pretty good, particularly given the price.

  • Gracie says:

Ugh, anything from Clinique 3-step is still rubbish in my eyes. And I’m one of those that went through a horror story because of it. This just shows that every skin is different.

I’m so happy with the Trilogy Rosehip Oil and all the La Roche Posay wins. Love them.

I’ve been an on-and-off fan of Dermalogica Microfoliant, it is a very nice product. And I definitely need to check out the Multivitamin Power Recovery Mask.

    This is great. Thanks!

  • Glitter Mama says:

Yay for St.Ives, love that stuff. Kinda surprized Neutrogena didn’t make it into best day or night moisturiser, it’s my fave!

  • *Aisling* says:

St Ives BLEW the competition away – I’m not joking!

The day moisturiser category was the narrowest in that the results were all quite close = Olay Total Effects wasn’t that far away from the Clinique

  • ZsaZsa says:

I’m not hugely surprised by some of the winners in either categories so far as so many people have raved about the winners. None of my favourites won but one or two made the top 5. Plus a few other products that I’ve used and liked in the past 9but not necassarily my favourites) have made the top five in a few categories.
