MollC, your comment made me laugh so much. BAM: science!!

I love silicones in my makeup. My primer, foundation, concealer AND powder all have silicone! In fact my primer (NYX Studio Perfect Photo Loving Primer) is almost nothing BUT silicone - the first ingredient is dimethicone! Foundation is MAC Studio Fix Fluid (LOVE) concealer is MAC Select MoistureCover, powder is MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural. I'm not sooo keen on silicones in my hair products, but I have used and loved Morrocan Oil, so there yah go!

I love Silicon products! gimme primers and hair oils full of them. I have really long and incredibly thick hair so these calm the frizz in my hair, make it silky and full looking, not frizzy and bushy! I went for two weeks while on hols without my hair oil and my hair is only now recovering, 2 weeks later!

Silicone melts at 1,400 degrees celsius (and hence is often used as a sealant or insulation for wires etc) so I wouldn't worry about it melting on to your hair.
