EvieM, as a matter of interest did you get your issue with the House of Fraser gift card sorted? I am in exactly the same boat as you, and its extremely frustrating! Have missed out on 2 items that I wanted to buy because of the delay in getting this sorted. Like you, went back to Tesco who kindly re-issued new gift cards, but the same problem. It has certainly put me off ever purchasing House of Fraser gift cards for anyone!

Any chance you may know if you can still acquire mini bottles of Guinness. I know they did them back in the day. Thats the closest thing i can think of as a substitute for a Guinness Maker for TLF.

Try the camping/outdoor shops as well, BerG. The Great Outdoors, Portwest etc have all manner of walking gear so you never know.

BerG, when I was in London last August I passed an umberella shop, with lots of old-style brollies. I now that’s not of much help, but I was surprised to see that a brolly shop existed. But I guess it’s London.

BerG, Debenhams and the like should have it, otherwise standalone menswear shops usually do them.

Berg somewhere like Guineys would be worth a look. Or even menswear shops that sell suits etc might have one.

Also, another eyebrow fact, you are supposed to pluck your brown in the direction they grow, to prevent them growing skew-ways.

Am looking for help from you lovely ladies. My dad decided he wants a big black unmrella that can double up as a walking stick. Would anyone have any advice where I can find such an item. Will be in town tomorrow morning so hope to get it sorted then. Will try the bigger department stores and see if i can find one.
