Another lover of the Bake Off here. I got the Showstoppers book and all of the technical challenges are in it. I really want to try that frasier cake, it looked fab. Does the recipe that says it takes 30 mins start with buy a cake? If you bought one rather than baked it and just made the filling, it may be possible (acetate problems aside!) to make it in 30 mins.

Gra – remember your paying the doctor you’re the customer, do what Orla says do not leave until you get a diagnosis. Best to get these things checked early.

Fiona – seriously it would take me 30 minutes to line the feckin tin with that acetate!!!! 30 minutes preparation time – me hoop!!!!

Fiona- haha no cooking time, yeah right but that picture makes me really want it.
Just had look at the BBC’s recipes from The Great British Bake Off, oh my I might just have to attempt Pauls’s Chocolate marshmallow teacakes.
But I’m supposed to eating healthy aaahhhh.

Gra- get yourself to the Doctor, we pay them enough money take no sh1t and make them listen. Two years ago I thought I had a pulled muscle in my ribs turned out I had pluerisy, because I didn’t catch it early I got really sick.

LD- Thx I’ll check out Heatons.

Daisy- Cheers , that’s my exact problem, I end up a big sweaty beetroot faced mess. I just want something light with bit of water proofness so I don’t end up soaked to the skin, the rain is stopping me going out at minute coz can’t bare running in rain jacket.

Lady here in work mention Kildare Village, they have Nike, Reebok and Addidas for sports clothes so I might take trip out there too.

I’m with the other beauties Grá, i had a lump under my arm around the boob area for a while. I don’t know why I ignored it, but eventually wised up. It was nothing but the last thing we need be concerned about it if we’re being hypochondriacs.

Gra, you know really you have to go to the doctor, don’t you. But with amount of pain you are suffering, I would get there as soon as I can.

and another GBBO fan here. It is an interesting final. John is a bit panicky/whiny, James is quite the risk taker, and Brendan – I really don’t know why I don’t like him more.

But, as a sometime baker myself, I can tell you, those guys aren’t just amateur joe soaps. They have baked very serious amounts of cakes/buns/doughnuts, because practice is the only way to get consistency in baking.

I can’t practice any more, my ass is big enough as it is.
