I've been in here about 2 months ago on the YSL foundation thread and lurking since....I mentioend that I had tried everything to fix my wayward skin and was trying out totally natural products - just wanted to do a quick update.

I tried everything, oils, creams, natural and not so natural(the LRP effaclar destroyed my already fragile skin) and now 2 months later having taken antibiotics(which I realllly didn't think would work) have cleared it up perfectly I'm glad to say....you'd never know I had bad skin :) teamed with pure aloe vera gel and cetaphil cleanser & moisturizer and a bit of trilogy rosehip oil at night that's all my skin needed(very sensitive and dry). To the millions of reviews saying antibiotics don't work well for me it was a last attempt before roaccutane and thank gawd it worked out...

anywho I couldn't face all your beauty pieces here for a while as makeup was too painful to apply and remove but am back and reading daily with my new found clear skin....

sadly the ysl foundation and vichy toleraine teint foundation are too much for my skin, tried bare minerals and it doesn't sit well on my skin, using vichy's mineral foundation but it doesn't last the day - any sugegstions for primers or foundations that are mineral based powders that are good for sensitive skin aside from these?used lily lolo in the past and everydayminerals....is anyone still suing these? any other new brands I can try for foundation? perhaps a light bb cream that doesnt irritate sensitive skin?

Hey girls, hope someone can help. My makeup lives in my car during the week, I apply it in my car when I get to work. This morning I found that my garnier bb large cream had leaked out of the makeup bag and all over the passenger seat! Its black upholstery. Does anyone know how best to get it off?! Thanks!

Help! Was there a review of MAC Mattene lipstick in Eden Rough, or pics, on the site recently? Unfortunately the search function is pretty useless and I have been trawling back through days and days of the blog to no avail. They are coming out tomorrow and I *think* I saw swatches of the Mattene in Eden Rouge but am not 100% sure. Thanks!

Just wondering if any of the ladies on here have any experience with that swiss o par eyelash and eyebrow dye? I bought it today as my eyebrows are practically non existent and I'm sick of drawing them on!

Well I slapped it on and hooooly jesus I had two fully grown caterpillars crawling across my forehead! After much plucking they now look amazeballs and I'm wondering if I should chance tinting my eyelashes? I'm terrified I'll blind myself though - has anyone tinted theirs at home?

Stuck in the bus which is stuck in the traffic. I swear the country where I leave must be using road works as a way to keep the unemployment rate at a low level. They are always re-doing the same roads!
Anyway, I'm perfectly relaxed after my swimming session so I don't care. Too much.

Kitty in the city, if you're around, there's an article on the Irish Times' site on how 50 shades is more about domestic violence than romance. It really ties in with some of the comments you make on your blog.

Have a nice evening everyone.

Hi all. Tis fierce quiet today. Hope it's because everyone is out enjoying the sun.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good facial in south dublin? I feel like treating myself and don't feel like going into town for it. Cheers.

BobbyPins, safe home. Hope you have a lovely stay.

Orla, good for you girl. It's good to hear you're having fun and enjoying yourself. Long may it last.
