    Morning all!

Sunny today for me, keeping fingers crossed it stays like this.
I underestimated the cold this morning. I’m still wearing my leather jacket because I want to make the most of it this year. It’s warm so it’s fine, but it’s a jacket so it leaves my legs exposed. So I’m cosy and warm from the waist up and from the ankles down (fur-lined boots), but freezing in the middle. It looks like I’ll have to get the coat out of the wardrobe. Or wear longer skirts. Or hibernate until March.

Hope you all have a nice day.

Morning ladies, how is everyone today?

  • Morning girls!

TheFrog, I am now wearing thights under my trousers. That’s how cold I am.
EvieM, am still trying to get rid of the flu but did one good thing today: booked myself a weekend in Paris in December. I’ll miss the Connacht-Biarritz rugby game, but that was the only weekend in December where I could go, and I need to do some shopping :)

Hope you all have a lovely day!

Morning All. Anyone know why, when you’re just about to get over a guy, he turns up in front of you in the street. If

  • Beth TV says:

    Hey all, how are things?

Froggy, how short are your skirts again? :)

Gossip, hugs for you. I hate shit like that happening to me x

  • LauraLou says:

hi everyone. in a foul mood for no reason. the joys. cant wait for today to be over! :)

  • LauraLou, chin up! Go get a cup of coffee (or tea) and breathe :)

Morning all, I’m the same have tights on under my trousers and I’ve a little fan heater on under my desk… toasty.

Off for my weekly beating with the osteopath tonight, starting to feel better now. but still not 100%, hoping one more session does it, jesus it would have you broke…

Gossipgal – were you going to add more to that comment??

  • EvieM says:

Oh Celine I’m jealous, really and truly bright frickin green with jealousy here. Enjoy x

  • Gossipgal says:

I had LynnieDoll the joys of posting from a phone. Hadn’t seen him for over a year and was convincing myself I wasn’t in love with him anymore when I bumpd in to him.

Beth, I’m not quite sure what you’re implying there… 12cm above the knee, which is quite work-appropriate I think. Esp with opaque tighs!

    Gossipgal, hugs. It’s never pleasant.

Celine, you’ll be missing an opportunity to see whether the Yach is soluble in the Galway rain, to go shopping instead! Really, you’ve got your priorities wrong! ;)

Talking of shopping, I bought the handbag for my mother’s C-word gift. And maybe I bought a small one for me as well, as you do. I also went to Salsa, what with all the talk about jeans lately. I’ve found a cut that fits me perfectly (called ‘push-in’. Does what it says on the tin). So now I’ll know where to go for jeans. They’re a bit pricey but thet were the first high-waist jeans that I’ve seen. Delighted.

Sun is still up, going for a drink and a snack after work with a friend, so I’m sending all kind of positive vibes to those of you not quite right at the moment.

Aww Gossipgal I know how you feel. That first meeting is always terrible. And then you replay it over and over in your head going over every little thing, and can’t stop thinking about it, and wondering if he’s going over it as well or if he forgot about it the minute he turned a corner. Drives you mad. But as Bobby Pins said, remember why it ended in the first place, and try to not think about it too much. Tea and choccie are always a good distraction I find!!!

  • I will enjoy for both of us Evie x
Yes TheFrog, I know… but that was an occasion to party with my friends, and I cannot miss it (I know that if I went, I’d have stalked Erik Lund and asked if I could please plait his beard pretty please thank you). Too bad though, I really enjoyed the Sportsground last year when Toulouse came to play.
O well, still have Munster v. RM92 to look forward to!

  • thefrog says:

Celine, Lund with plaits in his beard… Simply brilliant, I’m sure he would look gorgeous.

  • LynnieDoll says:

Bloody Hell Bobbypins – (roots out tights as elegantly as she possibly can from hoop) Aircon on full blast!!!!, I keep loosing the heat from my fingers today, anyone that has walked into my office has had to walk back out again with the heat. (Must remember that as a clever ploy to rid office of unwanted colleagues)

Gossipgal, that happens… it’s just a pang of history….you’ll forget it later on…

Just on to mope about the fact that I forked out €32 for Trilogy’s Everything Balm yesterday, and cannot find it anywhere today :(

Driving me nuts, hoping the baby didn’t bin it. Boo hoo.

  • EvieM says:

    Gossipgal ((hugs))

  • O dear, I only just realised that my only advice to LauraLou was…. yeah you saw it, a cuppa. I’ve been here too long!!

  • Orla says:

Morning all (yes I know it’s not morning but I’ve not been able to log on all day!!) Just back from a meeting in Birmingham with some of the company directors. THERE WERE JAZZ HANDS AT MY MEETING. Jazz Hands!!

Sorry I felt that needed to be shouted!! Hugs to everyone who’s down today, and I’ll think some warm thoughts for all of ye who are freezing! I’ve been on a toasty warm train for about 4 hours in total so far today so I’m downing the water goodoh!

Heading to the airport straight after work this eve so tomorrow I’ll be blathering from Ireland!! Yaay!!! :) :) :)

  • tina10 says:

Hmmm Hubby says he saw baby with aforementioned jar of ‘Everything Balm’ wandering around the house yesterday evening. Did he take it from the baby? Nope, of course he bloody didn’t!! It’s official, hubby will be doing the job of checking the bin this evening…
