Hi all!
Lauralou-good on you for setting yourself that goal,its tough keeping on track with healthy eating over december i find. Trying to eat healthy& keep up the excercise myself!
Chloe- i go to body shop all the time for threading,i usually go to l valley branch & find the girls great. Gives a great shape.
Pirate- good on you girl,Well done. Keep us posted re how much you raise

Beth TV – I might try that No7 one another time but mainly need a non-liquid one to bring with me. It has gone on my list to test though so thanks!
Squishywishy – thanks for that, I’m the same re: dry wipes. Do not get the point. Can’t use Simple unfortunately – it’s the only brand my skin seems to react violently to!

Ha Rosamaria. I like his style!! My boyf only let me buy things he likes for our trick or treaters cos he wants to enjoy the left overs. We only had 2 call last year but bf was home alone as I was in the states so knowing my luck ill have loads tonight. I just hate it bit don’t want to be the stingy people who don’t open the door.

Witchgirl I keep a pack of the boots own brand ones for make up emergencies and for nights away. The green cucumber ones are nice. I like my face wipes quite wet as the dry ones aren’t worth a curse for removing eye make up. Simple ones are grand too.

Witchgirl, I know it’s not wipes but get No 7 Beautiful Skin Foam Wash. It will shift almost all make up from you bar heavy stuff in and around your eye. For the eyes I like Simple’s eye make up remover which is often 2 for €5 in chemists or Quickies eye make up pads.

Hey ladies – quick question for you all. I’m going away for a night this weekend so need to bring something to remove make-up – any suggestions for wipes that wouldn’t be too bad? I’ve quite sensitive skin. I’m going up to Superdrug &/or Boots later so all recommendations welcome! Thanks!

Chloe, the body shop do eye brow threading, I think is costs 12 euro or so. Its worth getting it done, your eyebrows are lovely and neat and tidy after it.

Afternoon all,

Tried out the Number 7 colour matching this afternoon – distinctly underwhelmed. Girl told me they could only match to natural skin colour so if I wore fake tan ( I told her I did sometimes) the colour would be wrong (I thought I’d heard they could do something to match to wearing fake tan too). She then just held up a thing to my face for two seconds and said I was Calico – the palest shade. Which if I was going to match my ( incredibly pale Irish) natural skin colour to a foundation I would’ve known to pick the palest one myself anyway… She then spent about twenty minutes looking for a sample bottle. Then asked me which one I wanted. I said the palest shade she’d just matched me to and she said there were four different types of pale shade. When I asked which would be best she just said “they’re all different” so I just picked one randomly and got out of there after already having wasted a good half hour!!

Disappointing.

Sorry for the rant but I love No7 and it was very hyped up to be good!!

Orla, I suffer with dry hands and if they get really bad, I cover them in 8 hour cream. If I do it all day, reapply numberous times they will nearly clear up in one day. I couldn’t believe it the first time I tried it. It was a miracle.

Chloe I don’t know where you are based but I find Bushra Salon good for threading. I go to the Blackrock on myself but there are a couple of outlets.
