Ok ok I get your drift Breige and witchgirl.. I guess if it’s a tame way when you’re talking about making gifts etc that’s not too bad, I’m making gift baskets for my family and have started collecting stuff, but I’m not really admitting to myself that they’re for christmas yet!!

@thefrog honestly I’m not sure how I am atm, it seems like it’s getting worse and worse, even more bad & shitty stuff happening every single day but I’m trying not to go mad. thank you

I get a panic attack only when I think of Christmas, don’t get me wrong I absolutely love love love the actual holiday and preparations and the whole lot but it’s the worst time of the year at work, so busy, so many problems, such long hours… I refuse to think about that until it happens (but secretly wishing for snow )

I also don’t mind mentioning Christmas at the mo. I love it & am making all my cards this year so actually started them in Sep. Started too late last year & weren’t ready to send so was over ready this year to get going on them! But agree that mentioning it now should be in a tame way – I’m getting lists of ideas from my family at the moment but that’s about as far as it goes. Oh & sorted what the bf wants which is the most difficult one! Although now he keeps asking what I want & has to be of equal value & haven’t a notion!!!

Also, let me say this. I don’t mind Christmas being mentioned now, as long as it’s in a tame way. Not like ‘omg, it’s X number of days til Christmas/I feel so Christmassy/just ate a selection box/CHRRRRRISSSSSTTTMASSSSSSSS’ kind of way. I’ve mentioned it a bit last week but only because I plan on making a lot of Christmas presents so I need to plan and start making now if I want to have everything in place. Also we have guests staying this Christmas so we’re very excited about that and we also have my sister’s 21st just after so we’re all very excited about that.

However, right now I am more concentrated on Halloween!! It’s my birthday the Bank Holiday Weekend, currently planning a Halloween/birthday party. Woo!

Orla, the one in Kilmainham,will be going to Michael McIntyre next month so I booked for then. It’s also my boyfriend’s birthday the next day so last night I was like ‘booked a swanky room in the Hilton for your birthday!’. But then I cracked and told him the price.
