@EvieM, I know, I know.
I’m always laughing when I see that for magazines (maybe not real people then), short hair is read as a political statement or a mark of confidence, usually because they assume that only tall thin women get away with it.
Well, I’m 5ft 5, I carry around a good 6 pounds extra and have short hair. Simply because my hair is too thin to be long, and I just wanted a new face.

thefrog…is short hair supposed to be a sign of self confidence? I used to have mine in a pixie cut (tis halfway down my back now) and i’m fair from self confident….show what “they” know, huh?

Orla, Gracie, I’ve checked myself 5 times in the mirror this afternoon, and actually I like it. So, yes, I don’t care about what people say, I’m sticking to my new red lipstick! And I’ll probably get the YSL one I wanted once they’ve replenished their stock.
The funny thing is that people who know me well would say that I have zero self confidence except in intellectual matters, yet somehow I have very short hair and (now) red lips. That’s called pretending, right?

Oi Principessa!!! Can I ask a question here please as I cannot log into the forums? I pmed you recently to ask about changing my login name and you said the best bet was to delete my account and set up a new one under a new name. I did that and my old account has been deactivated, but the new one has just to be approved…that was 2 weeks ago. Any idea when it’ll be activated? Cheers.
