mummypupper, since she’s 55 and rolling in (you should hear her talking about the refurbishment of her bedroom, the price of the bed brought especially from Italy and so on…), I’m not sure she’s envious! But that’s a nice thing to say, thanks.

It’s just the city I work in (it’s an expat town, benefitting a lot from the banking industry and almost a fiscal heaven) is full of people with loads of money (the main shopping street has Hermes and Vuitton almost side by side and two diamonds shop in front of each other), and they tend to be quite flashy about it (cars, houses, jewels…). Whereas I’ve been brought up thinking that you don’t have to wear your pay check around your neck because the money you have does not define you as a person. So of course, I don’t quite fit in sometimes.

And anyway, you can get very good clothes from the high street. I’m wearing a skirt I’ve bought 10 years ago and it hasn’t budge. Probably the best 20€ I ever spent.

Coddle – I know from past experience that the No7 hot cloth cleanser can cause a rash like spots on my face for the 1st week or so that i use it,
Also my son appears to be allergic or highly sensitive to anything with SPF in it, however the only one that we seem to be able to use is the Boots Soltan Sensitive SPF creme, but its very thick, so maybe the No7 range would be good for a moisturiser?? and they are great for Giving Samples, i use mine all the time

Cherrysue – Slap slap slap to you for informing me of this Loop News, i will be going to London in less than a fortnight and i’m on a major tight budget, but i will have to have a look and see what bargains i might be able to get

Cherrysue….you are the bearer of wonderful news, i always fly from Shannon where the duty free shop is completely crap. Its mostly MAC stuff im interested in so it will be great to be able to get that in future! poor poor credit card

The frog,that comment came from a very insecure lady,I would imagine she’s a bit envious of you.People that say things like that just to hurt others have lots of issues,that’s not to excuse them though!!She’s probably jealous of your youth and general fabness:-)

Hey Pixie,

The plan is for MAC to be online in the next fortnight, Juniper is spot on with the Loop opening at 5am – purchases made on TheLoop.ie can be picked up from 4am too.

I think the great (read dangerous) part about it is that passengers flying from Cork & Shannon can buy from every range too, whether there’s a stockist in their airport or not. The goodies will be sent down and waiting for them when they check in…. I’m going to be broke…

CherrySue- any idea how soon MAC will be added to the online shopping? I am travelling through terminal 1 in 3 weeks and would love to know the prices of stuff in advance.

Also does anyone know what time MAC actually open, i think my flight is about 6am!
