Thanks everyone, debs was last night, i didn’t get online again unfortunately, ended up with golden/brown smokey eyes & coral lip stain! hopefully it was fine haha

Ginger – if the red lip is looking a bit mental then try dabbing the lipstick on to your lips with your finger. This can soften it. Also go with a matte lipstick because shiny can make the look more dramatic. If you are going with red lip then keep eye makeup and blusher very natural, a flick of eyeliner would go nicely.
Otherwise I second advice of a smokey eye – goldy brown would be lovely and natural lip. Search through the tutorials, Sara did a great brown smokey eye tutorial a while ago.

Haha Thalia that gave me a giggle! Yer a woman after my own heart! I can also inform you she is partial to country rock, early Madonna and playing “Welcome to the Jungle” over and over and over.

Ah I wouldn’t even mind if it wasn’t so early, I try not to be a neighbour nazi. I even watch the telly with subtitles on rather than hire it up too loud. Think I might just say it to her casually in passing next time I see her. Thanks again girls!

Ginger – if your dress is navy, what about pale lips and dark smoky eyes? Sort of a 60′s look maybe? Just a thought

I don’t know if I’m too late, but I’m in dire need of help! The debs is tomorrow,, doing everything myself as it’s not my own, and I just did a practise run of my make up…drag queen isn’t the word! I’m wearing navy so I thought red lipstick would look nice…it doesn’t. Anyone have ideas please?

Sarabelle – The Lighthouse Family at full volume is reason alone to chop her up and bury her under the patio!

I’d be up at the door and ask her to have some consideration. Mind you I confess when I lived in an apartment in my “yoof” I was a right one for the loud tunes. I had MUCH better musical taste though than the lighthouse family If someone had asked me to turn it down I would have though, I wouldn’t want to be a nuisance to anyone, you never know she might be reasonable if you approach it the right way?

Sarabelle – I have been on both sides of this one before. One was living in a house with a girl who had a radio alarm clock which would blare when she was up and about, in the shower and all. I had to say it to her and she hadn’t realized it was so loud.
On the other hand I had my alarm clock on the far side of the room. It was only a short beep and not too loud but because it was against my room mates wall it woke them. It was no trouble to move it and I was a bit embarrassed that I hadn’t noticed.
If I was you I would write her a short note and pop it in her door. Something along the lines of –
Hi, My name is x and I live downstairs. Your bedroom is directly above mine and the floor boards seem to be very thin. Unfortunately your radio wakes me in the morning. I would appreciate it if you could move it to another room, or turn the volume down. Thank you, sarabelle.
Short and sweet, doesn’t have to be confrontational. It is a reasonable request. If she doesn’t get the message then go to landlord. Landlord would be my last resort really!
You not working has nothing to do with it, you could be on shift or have a late start, noise before 9am is a bit much I think.

Please someone bring me a blanket! I’m so tired at this stage that I’m freezing here in the office. Thankfully I think my friend may be staying elsewhere tonight so I get to go home to my leaba.. I can hear it calling me…
