This is not related to beauty. I hope it’s ok to post here. My friend is a teacher and has lost her hours from 22 to 8 this year leaving her on about €200 a week, costs her to go there etc. So she needs extra work, any idea where she can advertise grinds etc. I need to cheer her up! Thanks brainiacs!

Thanks laura, I’m glad you’re happy now, your story and some of the others over the past week sound so like mine but I keep hoping things are going to change! Ah we’ll see how things go I guess! Groan!!

On the topic of the tv show, yes to everything! I think instead of big red buzzers, we need big red HEART SHAPED buzzers (to fit in with the theme!!)

Orla-Im not a frequent poster on the blather but ive been reading your posts over last few days and my heart went out to you. I was going out with a bloke a few years back who behaved similar to your bf.he’d make arrangements with me and drop me at the 11th hour to suit himself with excuses ranging from work/needing to meet his mates over god knowswhat/ tired/man flu etc. when he made the effort things were grand but he blew hot and cold so often i just never knew what to expect with him. over time, i felt like he had gained complete Control over me- it sounds nuts but my moods were totally dependent on him and how he was treating me on any day or week. when someone constantly lets you down like that its so horrible.i found myself tiptoeing around him,doing whatever he wanted to do whenever it suited him. My friends told me they were concerned as i was so down in myself all the time- and yet what had i to be down about aside from him? He got a Job offer in Australia,asked me to move wit him. my heart told me no,but i asked my boss for a career break anyway- which i Did get offered. we had a huge row on new years eve (again cos he cancelled our plans at the last minute leaving me to spend it on my own)& he told me he didnt want me to come to oz with him! The next day he denied ever saying it but we broke up anyway .looking Back i realised i was so scared of being single that i stayed with him,even though i knew in my heart he wasnt right for me & he was behaving like such an asshole to me. I can honestly say i felt Crap for about two days after we broke up,and then it was sheer relief. Since he moved,he still drops the odd e mail asking when am i coming over to visit! I have since met an amazing guy and have never been so Happy. As the Other beaut.ies have said,put yourself first. Your bf may not understand how upset he is making you feel,or he does but refuses to change his behaviour anyway.i hope the talk goes well tonight,but i think you need to ask yourself how much you are prepared to put up with. Sorry for the long post -dont mean to come across harsh. Giving advice is easier than taking. Follow your heart Orla. You seen like a lovely girl and you deserve to be wit a wonderful guy.best of luck xx

I’m loving the scoring the dates idea Orla. Can we have the little cards they have on come fine with me but show our scores in the bathroom and not the taxi as we’re hiding??? I’d also like a BGT red buzzer too please?

Beth, I just meant it might be a good way to choose if she decided that she wanted to make a decision between them like! We could all be hidden around the place and score the meals and date so it would be like come date with me mixed with come dine with me mixed with x factor or something!!
