Evie M I feel your pain. I had organised for a parcel to be delivered to me on friday, and it never showed up. I rang them to enquire of its whereabouts, to be told it was still in the warehouse. I didn’t even get an apology.

Beth TV & Mummypupper, I’m pretty sure you can still get/can get again Lois jeans. They were the high waisted, welded onto you at the top, massive flare at the bottom ones that the Charlies Angels girls wore weren’t they.

On a side note, not impressed with the aul postal service today. My mam posted me a gift card in the GPO on Friday and told me to expect it today and no sign of it. Also no bloody sign of my Topshop order that I was faithfully promised I would have by today, sure what do I expect….I ordered it last Monday morning at the crack of dawn and they didn’t even bloody ship it til late Thursday night. I’m after waiting in all day, an awful hardship I know in this cold, but still…I could have been doing things.

I don’t believe it, I’m stuck in bed with a tummy bug. I thought I would feel better tomorrow but I’m afraid to make other people sick if I’m not 100% well, especially since 3 colleagues are bringing their <6-month old babies for a special party. Sigh. Can anyone bring me anti-nausea pills?

Có I got some beautiful silver-plated Christmas tree decorations and some bookmarks as well in the previous years but haven’t been in there yet, I might pop in for a visit tomorrow and let you know x

@Candi – Agreed, those DJs seem to be getting all the blame. That poor nurse only put the call through, she didn’t give out the details. The media have a lot to answer for!

@Co – A bottle of wine maybe? or a funny mug or funny pen? thankfully I got someone I know in our Secret Santa (and a girl!) so I just got a wee eyeshadow palette in boots.
