Went to see John Bishop in the O2 last night. Was a brilliant show. He makes Wham cool again.
Hi all! Monday again, sigh.
Doing the special effects makeup tonight for the launch of black ops 2 on henry st, if anyone is around Booked for a shoot next Sunday too. Excited!
The poor boyf tore cartilage in his knee yest. He’s hobbling around.
Can’t believe it’s Monday already. We should abolish that day.
Had a lovely weekend in Brussels, did all the shopping I had to do (and a bit more), and now back to work. Today should be quiet, but the rest of the week looks like a nightmare, based on my agenda.
I managed to watch the first series of Downton over the weekend (train journey to Brussels is long). Loved it. I’m now waiting for the second series to become available on iTunes. Since they don’t put subtitles, it shouldn’t take too long (hopefully).
Hope everybody has a nice day!
oh!! And who watched Love/Hate?!
Being in work at stupid oclock, i shouldve known the wine last night wasnt going to be a good idea. Bright side,( theres always a bright side) 7 more sleeps till the canaries for two weeks! Anybody know if nars are in terminal 2 at dublin airport??
@the frog – I watched the first series of Downton too! Absolutely loved it, and really had to stop myself from starting into the second series late last night.
Am in need of advice please.I have really bad breakouts on my chin,am sure it’s hormonal and am addressing it but would appreciate some recs for good heavy duty concealers. The spot on my chin is so revolting I’m considering wearing a plaster going out today.Couple that with the stubbly chin and I’m only gorgeous….bloody hell
Mornin all. Alarm didn’t go off, hurtin in bones and face(dam you strange flu/cold/throat/face lump concoction) and have to sort weekly figure fun as soon as in door. Then find time to get coffee and throw on makeup. Roll on Warsaw Weds when I can escape…can we just get rid of Mondays now? please?
Mummypupper: Have a look at Vichy Derma blend. That stuff is the bizz, even though it is a foundation, it works really well as a concealer too!
Am off to the doc to get a refil of my Happy Pills, then Coffee with the uber gorgeous Katie Healy, and then a spot of grocery shopping before going to fetch the kids.
Bed was so comfy and warm this morning. Even though I was awake, I couldn’t get out of its fluffy warmth. I am totally loving my Feather Duvet
Its Monday. Kids are back at school and I have peace in the mornings. I don’t mind Mondays so much for this reason alone…
Mummypupper; i suffer with hormonal acne and find dermablend quite good. Recently tried out bare minerals and was surprised by how good there concealer is
Good morning all. I’m a bit stressed and down today, but I’m trying really hard to be happy! I’m going to go out for a stroll later to clear my head. Anybody have any nice plans for the week ahead?
Shygirl, I know how you feel. Saturday should have been my due date so I’m feeling pretty miserable at the moment. Add to that a sick toddler and a grumpy husband and you can see why I’m glad the weekend is finally over.
Hope you feel better soon.
Evie M hugs. Thats a lot to cope with!
Morning all, back to London and work with me today after my super quick couple of days back in Ireland. Oh ’twas lovely! I got to see my family, friends and even the new babby in the BF’s family. It was short and sweet though. Went a bit mad in Dunnes on Wed and got a load of dresses and then I was quite restrained at the essence stand in Pennys on Friday, only got a couple of polishes and a few mascaras and things. Fun fun!
Hope everyone’s not having too hard a monday, I’m still catching up on the emails that came in while I was away last week. STILL! After 2 hours!!
Morning all, I had a shite weekend and need big time cheering up as well I think Shygirl and I need to be locked up in a room full of cheesecake, beer and pizza.
Muppypupper, some time ago I got Clarin BlemishControl and it’s very good for drying up spots and that; it might do you some good. Dermablend is very good if a bit pricy; you could also try Dermacover which is a lot cheaper if less well known.
Thanks Shygirl, it sucked ass.
Beth TV can I come too? Beer & pizza sound good.
As awful as it sounds I am glad to hear loads of people had a crappy weekend.. I thought yesterday would never end. At least on Mondays there is a routine to fall into and places to go. I’m going to try to do some thing fun this week to perk myself up. Will try to sort out the kids Christmas presents, expensive but fun!
I had mentioned my 18 yr-old cat being ill last week. Friday was the day we had to say goodbye. I had been in bits all week, as she had looked *relatively* ok, but when Friday came I knew it was the right day, she wasn’t eating and had no quality of life. I had her for over 17 years and she was a little love-bomb. The house feels very empty without her. I for one can’t wait for this year to be over!
Ahhh Kitty in the city I’m so sorry to hear that. Big hugs to you x
Kitty you poor thing, *hugs*
