Missyl- Laura has covered most bases there! I’ve tried the Wet & Wild lippies and they’re quite good. Nice when they’re a dollar – you can experiment with colours with zero guilt. Their eyeshadows are also great.

I’m not a huge fan of the ELF products myself but their studio brushes are very good.

I like Milani for nail polishes. Their blusehs are supposed to be nice too. I really like Hard Candy blushes too.

Revlon for me is the biggest price difference. It’s about 1/3 of the price we pay here.

Another big Bath & Body works fan here. I love their True Blue Spa scrubs and moisturisers. They’re fab. Not incredibly cheap but I love them.

Evening girls,mondays over hurrah!
Missyl- im going to nyc too in five weeks and boy oh boy am i excited! My sis tells me wet n wild lippies cost about a dollar & are good- never use them myself but am gonna pick up a few. I think target stock elf products. Ive always found maybelline,Sally hanssen, revlon much cheaper in States & If you’re into haircare paul mitchell & redken is cheap. If you like benefit,you can save a lot too. Victoria secret & bath n body Works have gorgeous shower gels / moisturisers/ body lotions& sprays often on offer too which are worth checking out. Walmart is a good bet if you want to get good deals. Ooh talking about it gets me even more excited!
Anorak- go you! You will feel fabulous every time you wear that outfit. I splurged last year on a miu miu bag,i Love it & never get sick of it like i do with most things i buy. The good thing is never dear as the mammy would say!

Fiona – I know it was just funny at times. Especially when it suddenly took flight into the crowd! Both my bf & my sis’s bf questioned if it was pregnant & that’s why wasn’t moving – had to point out that birds lay eggs lol!

Beth TV – I don’t think this one would have been that difficult to catch!
I agree with you on the RDS games. And if nothing else – the food is a hell of a lot better. I can’t understand how they don’t serve more in Aviva where in the RDS you can get anything you want. And Aviva is meant to be the bigger, better venue. hmmmmm. Love the family days out thing too in the RDS. Missing it a bit this year – couldn’t afford my season ticket when was due for payment so this was my first match this year

Cel – oohhh sounds lovely. Myself & the bf are off to the Lough Allen Hotel & Spa in 2 weeks. Cannot wait!

Beth, my Dad is famous in the family for having read during the 3rd place final of the 1998 World Cup (soccer then). He had got 2 tickets, and knew my Mum would love to go, so he made the effort. He read the programme during the first half while Mum was on her feet, thoroughly enjoying herself! And spent the 2nd half looking at his watch.
I’ve very close to him, though, but not thanks to sport!

For what it’s worth Fiona, I prefer the RDS games. I think it’s got a better vibe to it what with the food courts and stuff. I love how you now see Mum’s bringing their kids to the games; it shows you that they are doing stuff right if they can get families to go.

TheFrog, one of my besties is a mad sports fan; me and her travel miles and miles to games. She even thinks it’s one of the special bonds that her Dad has with her. Funny your Dad hates games, isn’t it?

witchgirl26 – that poor magpie! It was kind of funny at first, but when it became apparent it was injured, someone should have intervened and thrown a towel over it to capture the poor beggar. It was obviously injured. Thought it was going to get flattened on more than one occasion.
