Just poppng in quickly as I’m in work. I wanted to ask if any of you who have used Liz Earle’s Hot Cloth Cleanser have had a reaction to it? I’ve been using it for a while now and it’s been fine but yesterday I left it on a bit longer than usual and when I washed it off, my face was very red and aggravated. I’m wondering if this is normal.

Beth TV you’ve made me smile so much here. A few years ago I bought a huge halloween snow globe in Dunnes. It was gorgeous with a haunted house in it and a little cemetry. When u turned it on it played ding dong the witch is dead and little tiny bats flew around the house. Moved into my mams after selling my house whilst waiting for new house to be ready and put said globe on mams sitting room window ledge for the halloween. Couple of weeks after halloween I asked my mam where the globe was so I could pack it away for my new house. The face on my mam was priceless. My dad had knocked it off the ledge when opening the blind and smashed it to smithereens and I hadn’t noticed its absence. They were afraid to tell me for ages, heh heh. It weighed a tonne and took them ages to clear the water and little headstones and bats off the sitting room floor

Hope you’re not too lonely now your son has moved out! My bro just started college & is living at home for 1st year, but I’ll be making him move out next year as it’s such a good way to learn to take care of yourself. I found that when I moved away from home for the first time -was surprised at how much I had to learn and how much I’d taken my parents for granted. Don’t worry too much – he’ll be home when it’s time to do the laundry/buy loo paper/eat! x

Funny you mention Hallow’een; Superquinn has had the decorated cakes in stock the last few weeks and God they are so purdy cute; wee lil ghosts and monsters and spooky stuff on them. Orla, I’ve another TV arriving in 2 weeks time. DID hadn’t enough in stock of the one I ordered (I got two of them) so it’s meant to be due in next week. They said that if it’s delayed any longer they will upgrade my order. As if 32″ HD isn’t enough for me
