TLF got asked what he did over the holidays, his only reply was – I went to a funeral. I would’nt mind but he was at the Marble Arch caves and in his grandparents over the holidays as well. God knows what the teacher thinks.

Still having no luck with the Essence eyeliner pen, it must just be new out. However i found a lovely NYC cream blusher stick in Penneys that just fell into my bag as compensation. Have to keep away from the shops.

KittyKat: I see you got resourceful with the hairdryer over the weekend. Amazing how the recession has made us all have a go at fixing something. Not like the good old days when as soon as something was not working it was flung out and promptly replaced.

Afternoon ladies!

Had a strange weekend, still trying to shake off a chest infection. Couldn’t sleep Saturday night so got up, wrapped up warm and went to the beach to see the sunrise with the boyfriend (well,didn’t really see it rise seeing as I’m on the west coast!). Ended up collapsing asleep at half 9 yesterday morning and meant my sleep was crazy last night but I managed to fall asleep at half 5. Hopefully I’ll get back on track again tonight.

@kittyKat: Exactly!!!!! We don’t have the luxury of personal trainers or chefs or nannies that follow us around. We are far to hard on ourselves. I mean: HOLY SHIT! YOU GREW A HUMAN IN YOUR STOMACH!!!!!

Thalia I am doing great thanks! Just getting a few headaches recently so took that as a reason to book myself a pregnancy massage for tomorrow Can’t wait. Have a proper bump now and enjoying the kicks.

GWTSE I second that ! As Davina Mc Call said – 9 months on, 9 months off and she’s right. These celebrity mums make it so difficult for us normal women to accept ourselves. It took me nearly a year to get back in shape after my son and I was only flippin’ 20. These slebs who claim to “ping” back into shape probably starve themselves for the duration of the pregnancy and thereafter. Actually an aunt of mine walked out of the hospital after giving birth many moons ago in a pair of size 8 jeans having refused the hospital food during her stay telling the staff that she intended walking out in the jeans she’d worn before she got pregnant. Jesus wept after i gave birth I couldn’t even fit into the maternity jeans I’d worn

I’d love to be able to blame pregnancy but I can’t, I didnt gain that much weight and I’m back to pre preggo weight now, I was a fatgirl before!
