    Good morning everyone!

Assuming we make it past Armsgeddon :)

Have a wonderful Christmas, because 2013 is going to be fabulous !!!!

  • LynnieDoll says:

Well so far those ould Mayans have got it wrong – so all is great in the world – were still here to see another blather!!!

Last day in work today – let’s have a whoop whoop!!!!

LittleDoll needed an antibiotic, glands are swollen and throat is red raw. Hopefully she’ll be right for when Father Christmas comes along..

Hope everyones on the road to recovery….

BP – as your not on line I’ll open the bar….. what’s it to be a mulled wine/bucks fizz/ Baileys and ice anyone????

    Hello there!

@LynnieDoll: I hope littledoll recovers in time, poor little thing, it’s not fun being sick, and especially not at this time of year.
Mine will be a mulled wine, by the way.

Went to the doctor last night, to get some prescriptions renewed. Apparently he was not so satisfied with my latest blood test (contrary to what he had first said) because he gave me a prescription to get another one in 5-6 months. Did not exactly say why, though.
And he mentioned the dreaded ‘w-word’, saying that I had to get into my head that I should eat more, and something that wasn’t just vegetables, bread and yogurt. I wanted to scrap that from my plans for next year, but it looks like I won’t be able to.

I’m off to do the food shopping for Monday night (luckily, this year we do everything on Christmas eve, and there will be no family lunch on Christmas day!), and then in the afternoon, we’re going to the musée d’Orsay with my parents to see the exhibition on the Impressionists and fashion.

Have a look at today’s Irishman’s Diary in the Times. The last paragraph on the cat and the Christmas tree could apply to the situation at home ;)

    Have a nice day!

    Hi girls
Well the big news here is that, after 5 stinky days I can stand it no more…..people,I’m having a shower and washing my hair.I still have a low grade temp on and off and still feel a bit sick but when your husband, who has been through childbirth with me…twice, and has a really poor sense of smell, starts giving me a wide birth,it’s time to act. Please, please don’t let me get a relapse showering too soon,I just so need to wash my hair. It’s like yellow and black straw with grease thrown on.
Lynnie, hope littledoll picks up soon, children do.I found with the pups, they’re almost fully better after three days on the antibiotic so that’s plenty in time for the big man.
The frog, don’t let what the doctor said upset you,put it out of your head until after Xmas, time enough to stress about these things in dreary January.
Am a bit sad I’m too sick to go out so am missing the last day of school pick up,there’s always a lovely atmosphere in the yard..o well.
    Have a great day everyone

Morning Beauties. God tis getting awful quiet around here.

I’ll have a mulled cider please if the bar is open. LynnieDoll, you’re poor lo, hope she feels better soon. If she has trouble swallowing or refuses to drink because of the raw throat like my little man did, try giving her a few spoons of liquid, thats the only way my lm would take it and once he realised it was helping the dry throat he gladly took his bottle.

Mummypupper, hope you feel better soon too. Co, I really need to see this jumper, must check out twitter.

I finally got my house of fraser gift card sort last night after an hald hour long phone call to the north. A lovely Scottish lady went through all the same things the last 2 customer services reps did and then went off and got an evoucher authorised for me. Think she felt sorry for me as the dress was the last one left in any size and was on sale. We were practically doing novenas that it wouldn’t be snapped up by someone while we were sorting things out. Am hoping it’ll arrive in time for dinner with friends on the 29th but either way it’s a perfect lbd and I’ll get loads of wear out of it. I’m delira. My mam and dad called yesterday with more gift cards for me for Christmas, these ones are Next & Debenhams, hopefully I won’t have any problems using them, at least I can used these ones instore. Think I might try the YSL Touche Eclat foundation with the debenhams card. Will have to go in to get matched though as I haven’t seen it in person yet so have no idea what shade to get.

Mummypupper, you can come back to the bar once you’ve had a wash!!! don’t want you putting the rest of the blatheres off their drink!! (kidding of course)

  • mummypupper says:

  • Orna says:

    Afternoon all!

Think I may have finally found my perfect red lipstick, picked up one of the new Tom Fords yesterday! Decided I needed a holiday treat. Have had lingual braces (on the inside of the teeth so completely invisible) for the last 3 months and really seeing a huge difference so felt confident enough to start wearing more dramatic lipsticks.

Unfortunately was given samples of black orchid… Absolutely hated it on first sniff but it settled beautifully and now I feel like I NEED it in my life. I don’t know how much it is and I’m not sure I even want to know :(

  • *Aisling* says:

Ah yeah it’s quiet because everyone is so busy! Same every Crimbo – but sure we’re all here!

Finally FINALLY got the husbag a present, cost me a freakin fortune (a shirt from Pink) but hell he deserves it, putting up with me and my shoulder crap for most of the year

  • Tina~bean says:

Roll on Santa, work finished for Christmas!! Has anyone tried the new lancome perfume, it’s beautiful. A lot like flowerbomb. Sale present to myself I think!!
Just seen on Twitter that the Tiny Dancer song is on it’s way to being the biggest selling single of 2012.
