Wow Ams! I thought stories like that were urban fashion myths! I only ever seem to find manky polyester shirts from he seventies or worse, stuff from pennys. You’ve given me hope.

EvieM – i saw that exact site last night and ended up getting a 1ml decant of the lys fume and lavender palm earlier today. Glad to know they are reputable! i want to make sure i really REALLY like it before i even think about getting it. I am considering the big 250ml bottle because have you seen the price difference?! I’m horrified. It’s a little over twice the price for five times the amount of perfume. I can’t understand how that works.

I never particularly liked lily before smelling this, but i can at least send you postage money for the donna karan so you’re not out of pocket. That’s really kind of you to offer it!!

Hi all, Friday yay! Orla and anyone else abroad- you can watch late late toy show o. RTE player from anywhere, I have friends who will watch it in germany and oz! You can watch it live, or it goes up about an hour after it finishes! I can’t wait!

@Thefrog – I love Clarins Blue Orchid Oil – a few drops in my moisturiser, also Trilogy Rosehip oil and the small tub of Trilogy’s Everything Balm. I suffer from Rosacea and over the years have learnt the hard way what my sensitive skin can/cannot tolerate. My skin *loves* all of the above (although night time only for Everything Balm, warm it in palm of hands until is melts, smells fab also) I think small jar is about €16 or so.

Aifs that’s a lovely idea! I got my mother some lovely smelly stuff and she was delighted as it wasn’t just stuff it’s a chance to really relax. One of the things I got was a microwavable lavender heat wrap thing for her back/neck/shoulders, for someone who’s always on the go as your sis prob is with her little ones they can be great for aches and pains!

Ladies, I’d love if ye could help me. My BIL has just asked me for a bit of help with my sister’s Christmas present. He is thinking of some make up so I can help with no problem. I was also thinking of some pampery things. She’s a brilliant mammy to my 3 nephews so I am going to suggest to him that he tries to give her some time to try out the Pixy bath products we bought. With 3 under 5 that will be hard! Her bath would also need to be cleared of boats, ducks, sharks to name a few! I was thinking of a couple of Izzy candles might be nice too (they are amazing! I bought some in the Cork Christmas market last weekend)
I’ve been looking at the suggestions on the site too and making notes. Any nice suggestions would be great.
