TFI – is all I can say!!! Been one of those weeks that I’ll be very glad to see the back of.

Nothing much planned, off swimming with LittleDoll in the morning and then up to vote.

Really loving the Boots sanctuary offer, really fancy it for myself :)

Hi everyone, a miserable day here in Cork, wish I could stay tucked up under the duvet all day!!!

  • LynnieDoll says:

Oh Cherrysue – if your there, a HUGE thank you to you. I was finding my beloved YSL foundation was starting to slide away half way through the day but I bought the Effeclar Mat that you recommended ages ago to someone else and by god its brilliant stuff.
It is definitely on repeat prescription for me. :) :)

    Morning all!

In a meeting at the moment (yes I know I shouldn’t be on the blather, but it’s too tempting).

So glad it’s Friday. Went home early yesterday, managed to make bred, get some clothes washed, hoover the flat and do my nails. So proud of myself for being so organised. I’m really loving the OPI blondette selection, they’re gorgeous.

Planning to leave early today as well, need to go to Lush to get a few essentials.

I’m going to Brussels for the weekend, need to plan some shopping for the C- gifts (comic strips related), and maybe a museum or two. Should be fun.

Anybody has nice plans for the weekend?

    Have a nice day!

    Morning ladies!

At home in bed today, having a duvet day. The electric blanket is on, I’ve made myself a fresh coffee, and the internet is on! Good day ahead methinks.

Have two creams beside my bed; Clarins Jeunesse de Mains handcream and Elizabeth Arden’s 8 Hour Cream. Such a luxury to pop on from bed here.

Have a great Friday alll – the weekend is here!

  • Morning,

Dull and wet in Cork!! Twas so hard to get up. BUT its Friday :)

I’m off to Dublin tomorrow for some shopping and to see John Bishop in the O2 on Sunday night :)

I’m hoping to check out the Kardashian Kollection in Dorethy Perkins. Does anyone know if jervis Street have a big selection? I’ve my eye on a bag and a dress.

Can anyone recommend a good shoe shop? I need new knee high boots but my calves are really wide, so the usual places are out and don’t want spend 150e in Evans!! has Dublin any hidden treasures?

Hi everyone,am blathering from bed,my small man not feeling too well so,being a total soft touch,I have left him home from school even though he really only has a cold.We are now watching SpongeBob,relaxing into the day.He was just telling me about a football team his school played against yesterday called St.Peter and Paul’s,their initials being pp,(pee pee)before roaring with laughter. The fabulous world of the ten year old boy!!
Have just been watching tv3,Laura Bermingham was doing a feature on gorgeous goodies from the loop in Dublin airport,God the Jo Malone looked so lovely!!
    Happy Friday everyone

  • Beth TV says:

Morning gals, Dublin’s a darker shade of wet today if anyone is keeping the score.

Am hell bent on going out tonight; just a matter of seeing who is going where and we’ll take it from there. Legs are dehaired so it had better happen or else there’ll be skin and hair flying. Or was that me in the shower last night?

Happybubble, have a peek in Clarks

  • Good morning ladies, happy Friday!!
For the first time ever, I have been able to do something with my hair (a kind of ballerina bun), and I am very happy about it. Following Murphy’s Law, it will thus rain or become very windy as soon as I go outside, destroying my efforts.
No plan for the weekend, will watch the rugby on tv and stay warm at home (hopefully this bloody flu will leave me now, it’s been a week, surely it’ll realise it has abused its welcome?).

    Enjoy Brussels froggy!

  • SLH says:

@thefrog – welcome to my home town for the weekend! Hope you have a great time. Happy shopping!

  • tina10 says:

Don’t get on her often enough, but love the turns of phrase ‘a victory lap of the office’ had me laughing out loud Emma.

Found my brand new Trilogy pot of Everything Balm that the baby had lost, he had put it inside a shoe for safe keeping!! Took 2 days, but delighted I found it and don’t have to fork out another €32. It’s the small victories that make your day!

Enjoy the weekend girls, whatever your plans.

  • thefrog says:

@tina, told you it was probably just hidden somewhere and not in the bin!

@SLH: any nice exhibition on at the moment? At the Bozar maybe? I was supposed to see friends but this plan is slowly coming to naught, so have to organise a back-up (beside the shopping, obviously).

  • tina10 says:

@thefrog You did indeed. Now I’d appreciate if you could tell me where he’s hidden the car keys :)

  • Ah Tina, thanks! And do stop by more often!

  • ZsaZsa says:

Morning all – I hope the day clears up later! (One can always try and remain positive!)

@ HappyBubbleGal – try Ecco or Clarkes. I think Marks and Sepencers also do boots for wider calves!

  • Morning All.

am doing nothing today. Have the iPod on and am going back to bed soon. Not feeling the greatest, and just feel like I need to sleep. Not sure what he problem is, suspect its my iron levels and blood pressure thats too low.

Am really looking forward to the weekend. Have to start getting the house ready for my mom who arrives in 7 sleeps! Am thrilled!!!

So thats the plan, clean tomorrow while himself is at his classes, and I will bribe the kids to help get the house in order. Ben & Jerrys is half price in our local centra and they both adore it, so will get them each their very own tub if they do what needs to be done.

    Stay warm and dry peeps!

  • Shygirl says:

Hello all! I didn’t have a great sleep last night, but I got up at the usual time anyway, and now I feel great! Got loads done this morning.

  • Gossipgal says:

Tina Congrats. Nothing worse than loosing a new item.

  • Dollface says:

Tell me about it!! Was just about to take the dog for a walk one day, put the lead on the doorstep, turned my back for about five seconds and it was gone! Totally disappeared! Had to just buy a new one in the end but a few weeks later found it in a welly in the shed….still don’t know if it was the dog or the toddler that hid it on me!!

  • LynnieDoll says:

thefrog – Enjoy Brussels, I was there a long time ago and we met a load of American soldiers that were stationed there to guard something or other. We had a ball, they were shocked at how much we could drink and still sing and dance…..
I remember spending ages walking round trying to find the little boy with the pee pee (your son would love it mummypupper LOL)

Oh and the chocolate, there were chocolate shops everywhere and they all insisted we try before we buy :)
