Oh I’m singing Hosanna’s this morning. Every night this week littledoll has woken. I’m putting it down to her 12 month injections that she got last week. They warned me to watch for unsettlement.
So I am ready for the weekend….

BobbyPins – I know your only back, but would you get that bar open – Stat!!! Something with a red bull in it for me.

  • Bobby Pins says:

Bar be open! LD, sorry to hear about little doll’s early starts. So, here’s the red bull – whaddaya want as a mixer…tea? Vodka?
I am so tiiiiiired, jet lag won’t leave but it’s the weekend whoop whoop.

    Morning peeps,

LD- ye poor thing I always hear my Mum telling my sister if she is bringing the wee ones for injections to give them a spoon of calpol before the go and then again few hours later. From what I can gather some of these injectios can raise temps and the calpol helps to regulate it. I don’t know the specifics but I hear her saying it all the time to the sister.

Bobbypins- hot whiskey, it beautiful morning but it’s freezing.

I’m on half day to go get my flu jab, oh the joys.
And after that to shout on Irrreeeallllaaaannnndd against Germany in Aviva.

I feel your pain BP, twice she woke last night, my eyes are in the back of me head today! How’s the mood BP?

The new soap and glory kick ass concealer is on again today, really liking it. Great coverage.

Going to try and get an appointment to get my grey disguised tomorrow,my hair is dark brown so after 2 weeks of it being coloured the silver roots are back. Would getting a few highlights in it make a difference – does anyone think? don’t know what to do?

  • Bobby Pins says:

LoCo, are you gonna have a shot of calpol before the other shot? :) though your hot whiskey might be a good substitute….
LD, you are a sweetheart! Mood is good. The trauma is over. And it feels fabulous to be back as I was. Sometimes it is flippin’ hard being a grown up.
What colouring do you have? If you brown eyed and sallow, then I always prefer when my friends like that stay darker. But if you are lighter toned, then caramel it up! X

  • Morning all! Friday, half day, holibags tomorrow – woot woot!

  • LoCo says:

BP- hee hee I just might f3ckin love Calpol. :) Yum.
Great to hear you are doing well.

Emma-hope you have a lovely holiday.

  • le smurf says:

    Mmmmm Calpol!

    Lovely sugary pink stuff!

  • LynnieDoll says:

Loco/Le Smurf- I have some sachets of Calpol in my bag!! or is that considered ‘dealing’ :(
I laugh now at the contents of my handbag, it used to be full of lovely gold bottles with logos, now its babywipes, calpol the odd toy, packet of liga!!!

BP, I’ve brown hair, blue eyes and sallow skin, I prefer my hair darker it does suit me better but I’m battling every 2 weeks and its costing a fortune to maintain. Maybe a few caramel highlights might lenghten out the process and not make the grey look as obvious. (chuffed to hear your smily and happy again)

Emma – enjoy the vay-kay!!!! Can’t wait to hear about what you purchase while away…

Mornin all. My lovely bf surprised me by calling in on his way home from the wesht yesterday evening. Freaked me out by knocking on the door but ah well. :)
LynnieDoll – if having Calpol is dealing then I don’t know how bad I am!
Tip my mam got from her hairdresser was that to start colouring your hair slightly lighter than it’s natural – nothing major but disguises the grey. Gradually brings you down to the grey over years & years but doesn’t look sudden or anything. Not saying that you should just let the grey go btw!
    Enjoy the hol Emma!
