Sorry le smurf! I wasn’t talking about you – it was CherrySue’s son’s girlfriend who “doesn’t get movies”… ANY movies! How do you not get movies? They’re just like a long TV show! (Thats why I wondered if its the younger generations alleged shorter attention span)

Nothing wrong with chick flicks, they’re just not my thing – though I have been known to enjoy the odd one!

Thanks Beth Tv. Yep I’m delighted. She’s been through alot of pain and surgery this year do hopefully this is the end of it. Gonna have a bulmers to celebrate.

V quiet around here today. I’ve been v busy. My mammy came home from hospital today. She’s been in for two weeks. Le Smurf, I’m with Fiona & LoCo on this… I’m another sci-fi geek! Unfortunately my friends are more the chick-flick type so we don’t get to go to movies together much.

CherrySue, thats mad that the gf “doesn’t get” movies… whats not to get?!?!?? Is it an attention-span thing, like how they that people’s shorter attention spans are one of the reasons for dumbed down TV?

Cherry Sue – you amaze me with all the movies you go to! And such a wide variety. We could never be friends as you would KILL me stone dead for chatting through films!

Himself regularly says “Mute” to me when I get too chatty, like first thing in the mornings or if he just needs a bit of quiet time, I’m brutal! If there’s a silence, I will fill it!
