Things are much better now. He’s acknowledged he was an idiot and made a balls of explaining things to me. We’re getting back on track now.Thanks for all the support ladies x.

On another note, was driving lots today, think I’m getting better

Gossipgal – I second what someone said about bringing your mam to one of the good make up counters to invest in a good pencil or kit for her eyebrows and to have a lesson on how to use it properly. My mam never bothered with false eyelashes so can’t advise on that. Another bit of advice is that when your mams hair does start to fall out is to have her hairdresser cut it into a nice crop as if the hair is shorter it is slightly less stressful when it does start to fall out properly. My mams hairdresser came to the house to do this so that she could get used to the new style before she went out. Also buy her some nice soft turbins or head scarves as she might not want to wear her wig all of the time at home so these are good to have as an alternative. Definitely make the wig fitting a fun day, go for lunch before or after and have fun while there, get her to try on lots of different styles and have a giggle at the ones that are just totally off the wall for her style as this will make it less daunting. Cornflake, great nite Fri and great day chilling y/day. Polished off that bottle of merlot last night. Made it up to my bed this time thankfully. No more floor for me. We will have to do it again soon. Nothing like a night with the girls to cheer a person up.

Found out who that mystery FB guy was btw. Turns out he was a year ahead of me in school and he said his mate used to fancy me way back then, ha ha.
Got more emails on POF. Got one from a fab looking 32 yr old guy from Ohio who is living over here. I pointed out the age difference and he said he is looking for an older woman, so I asked why and he said “I’ve always wanted to try it.” Made me think that thats what DG guy had in mind, but on meeting me face to face his conscience got the better of him. A friend of a friend is 43 and really young looking and pretty. She had a txt / fone thing going with a guy in his 20′s and one weekend he travelled over to stay with her. She was all on for a weekend of passion but when he landed in on top of her he couldn’t go thru with it. His excuse: he respected her too much. On hearing that I told my pal that I thought that was bull – he lost his nerve because he was afraid he wouldn’t be up to the job Its all v. well these younger men fantasising about being with an older woman, but methinks the reality is sometimes a bit much for them.

This rain, no sun, no rain, no sun, no RAIN RAIN RAIN shenanigans is really putting me off going outside. I should be studying but listening to dire GAA match and debating baking something, but lack of tins since I sent all cookery stuff home to start the process of moving back for summer!
