I will be queueing however as I went in for the Lanvin one and it really wasn’t much hassle at all – I wasn’t mega-early but I still got pretty much everything I wanted (that was available in Dublin).

I’m not into the print Versace stuff at all but if you check out the full collection on Vogue/InStyle etc websites there are actually pieces that are a lot more toned down. I love the shoes and I’m partial to a bit of leather and studs so will be trying to nab accessories or a jacket/dress.

I think it’s very cheeky putting out a press release about giving away 500 1.5ml samples to a crowd who, by queuing for hours (outside, in NOVEMBER) just for a chance to buy your clothes (& probably the only version they can afford), should be awarded and respected by the brand for their dedication and loyalty. And not just given a free sample of perfume (the kind of sample that’s always free and always should be) in the hopes they’ll purchase the full size at Christmas.

Meanwhile at some exclusive event somewhere, which will have barely anything to do with the brand, they will be giving out 100ml bottles free to wealthy women who couldn’t care less.
