Sorry ladies was out yesterday afternoon. So far I have used http://www.lookfantastic.com, it was the first one I came to on a google search and seems cheap enough!

Now just to note, it actually takes a few washes -and the more you use it the better volume you seem to get!

Laydees, I just picked up the Batiste XXL in Boots this morning for €5.10 for a large can.

Will keep my eyes peeled for this one too though.

Have gotten into the habit of hiding my hair stash though as the lads are going through them like no ones business for their barnetts!!

Dee – Totally agree about the Lee Stafford one, it is CRAP, in fact its even worse than crap, I have gotten the Tresemme one and its ok, so will definately give this on a try

Sweetlikejelly – No u don’t need a card for those places, a card just means that u pay trade prices, so just be careful that the price u see is not the Trade price, as i have done this and then gotten to the till and nearly having a heart attack when they add on the vat

You can definately get the OSIS one in Sallys in Dublin in Drury St.

And in Galway it’s in that newish beauty supply place in Eyre Sq centre (the one that sells all the OPI).

Totally agree on the epic FAIL that is the Lee Stafford one. I looked like I had the worst dandruff in the world. I had to actually wash my hair to get the white flakes out! Yeeeuuuuch.

allie12 what website did you get the redken on??

I am also a sufferer of fine hair and i cant put any product into my hair beacuse it just makes my hair go flat!!!

will definitelty be puchasing the redken and the got2b to try and give my hair a little oomph

oh and does any1 have any tips to tame a calves lick, i have one at my fringe and it is a nightmare?

Another good option that does exactly the same job (very well) and is cheap is Lee Stafford Matt Fat. It’s very, very good.

ams – that Batiste XXL is flipping sold out everywhere!

Dee – yep, the ingredients list is very similar on the two. Not 100% the same, now, but close enough to make no difference in my opinion
