I’ve seen a couple of Swedish beauty bloggers who use these as a base for dry shadows, to alter the shades of the final result. I’ve tried this and it tends to crease, but sure – it gives a hell of a good grip for a while.

Hmmmm…I doubt they’d be that blue or green on the skin when blended out. I wonder would they act as a light diffuser type thing (I’m probably using the wrong terminology there :/ ) Like you know the way coral/peach/pink highlighters are supposed to (and sometimes do) give a ‘candlelit’ look, would these give a ‘spotlight’ look. Like in black and white movies wher its like the light sorta blasts past any lines/blemishes/discolouration.

Or I could be jus talkin out the proverbial.

I don’t think these are for me. Some products just confuse me, I think I’m getting more and more addled in my oldish age, and I’d rather leave the blue and green highlighters for the young ‘uns!

the fact that they’re creamy means maybe you could blend the green one around the cheeks to even out redness and luminize in one? still a little bit odd. or as eyeshadow bases? or the blue one under eyes to neutralize yellow? or am i just being woefully amateurish? (think i saw a palette rather similar to this from Makeup Forever… freaky colourways like this always say ‘leave it to the professionals’ in my head…)

I’d have a go of them on the inner corner but that’s about it hehe I love the name “Magma”, I always feel the need to say it in the Dr Evil voice hehe I think I’m gone past the age of wearing highlighters that shimmery, I prefer a more suble powder. I like the sound of the coraly one you have.

These can surely only be used on the eye area???? I think that they would be okay in the inner or outer corner of the eye, to make your eye shadow pop a bit more.

I recently got a lovely taupey brown eye shadow from this brand and am seriously impressed with it. I wanted an everyday easy to wear shade and its just perfect. Nice big pots as well which helps.
Would’nt know where to start with those shades though.
